What To Expect

You will meet your guide at the Equestrian Statue of King Louis XIV in front of the Louvre’s iconic pyramid structure. There, they will whisk you into the museum to visit all of the star attractions such as the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, the statue Winged Victory of Samothrace, or Liberty Leading the People by Eugène Delacroix. Alternatively, you can enjoy intimate viewings and explanations of lesser-known gems among the vast exhibitions. This tour is private for your group – meaning whether you are one person or six people maximum – you will have a knowledgeable guide with you throughout the museum, tailoring the experience to your desire. *Please note that the museum entrance tickets are not included in the tour price. You can buy them directly on the museum website.

The best way to see the Louvre as a family.

5.00Guided tour is definitely the way to go if you’re visiting the louvre as a family and you have little ones. We visited the museum with 3 adults and 2 kids, ages 2 and 4. Our guide Afsaneh was the absolute best, not only was she a lovely person, but she helped us with where to go to borrow strollers for our kids, was patient when one had to use the toilet and knew the best way to get around. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the artwork, could answer any question I had, and even took the time to explain things in the way my 4yr old could understand. She was engaging and honestly made the visit to the Louvre so much more enjoyable than if my husband and I tried to brave it on our own. The Louvre is of monumental size and having a guide is worth every penny. Highly recommend and would do again. If you have the benefit of getting Afsaneh, she will not disappoint.

5.00Understanding the history of the palace and the collection that is there give a lot of value beyond seeing the art works. Asfaneh was very good at explaining the history and adding a passion for the art and overall French history

5.00We loved our tour, our tour guide AFSANEH was amazing, she showed us everything we needed to see and made sure to explain the history to the kids. Was the perfect amount of time too, I think the kids would have been bored on a longer tour. Would definitely recommend!
