Loïk provided a wonderful tour for my wife and I. He was very personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and intuitive with how to lead the experience- mixing a unique blend of personal experience, local expertise, and historical insight. We chose to take this wine tour based on reviews and were happy to find all were accurate. Loïk brought us to places we would not be able to find on our own which is what we look for in private tours. What really set this tour apart from most was that while most wine tours provide a basic-level educational experience, Loïk went one step further by educating us about the local wine and culture through a great hands-on tasting experience and ensured we left knowing the best wines France has to offer. Will DEFINITELY look to book with him again when we come back to Paris.

Loik was a wonderful guide - very knowledgeable about the city and the wines we tasted as well as about all of the various regions in the country. The group size of 6 was perfect for the small and intimate locations we visited. We had a terrific time and I would highly recommend it.

Loïk, the guide, took us on a wonderful journey of French wine and perfect pairings (especially the surprising tasty razor clams) through several types of local establishments in the Montmontre area. Loïk was extremely knowledgeable and we learned about and tasted wine from several regions of France. He also shared information about the history of the area and pointed out specific locations and their stories which added more to the experience. The tour is highly recommended and if you get Loïk as your guide you’ll definitely have a wonderful experience. We learned so much that we weren’t even hesitant during the final blind tasting. Thank you again Loïk for the memorable experience!

I believe this tour is one of the best ways to experience Monmartre. All the places we stopped to eat and drink had very good food and wine, and felt very authentic. Loik gives a lot of explanation on French wines, so besides enjoying all the tastings, we also learned a lot! As if all that was not enough, he also tells about Paris' history and tells a lot of funfacts that I feel most guides wouldn't. Definitely recommend!

We had such a great time on this food and wine tour! Loik was an incredible guide — super knowledgeable and passionate about wine, but also patient and approachable. We really appreciated his patience with my boyfriend’s endless questions! It was the perfect activity to do at the beginning of our trip, since afterward we actually knew how to order wines we liked and pair them well with our meals. I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone even remotely interested in wine — you’ll learn a ton and have a great time doing it.

This tour exceeded all expectations. I’ve done wine tastings before, but this was so much more, history, culture, food, and laughs all rolled into one. The blind tasting was such a fun activity, and I left with both a happy buzz and a deeper understanding of French wine. Worth every penny.
