Our half-day Cruise & Lunch showcases the best of Australia’s southernmost district. Cruising every Sunday, experience the produce, seafood and landscapes that shape this incredible region.
Depart the Hobart waterfront at 10:30am and enjoy a leisurely 1/1.5 hr cruise along the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. You’ll learn about the region’s history, landmarks and buildings, whilst taking in spectacular scenery. Spot iconic wildlife, from seals to sea eagles and perhaps even dolphins or whales.
Upon arriving in Woodbridge, take a stroll through our grounds before your degustation lunch, featuring fresh, seasonal produce. Using ingredients from the globally renowned Huon Valley, Bruny Island waters and what we’re growing in our garden.
After a long lunch, punctuated by local wines, craft beers and a couple of small surprises, you’ll return to our luxury catamaran to cruise back to Hobart in quiet comfort, maybe indulging in a Tasmanian whisky or digestif before returning ashore at 4pm.

5.00We have done the Peppermint Bay experience before and could not to get back to Hobart to do it again. The first time was great this time was better, the crew and Captain do a magnificent job with friendly service backed up by excellent food and good quality wines. We will be back again, thanks team you go above and beyond.

5.00A cruise along the Derwent River past Hobart's southern suburbs onto the channel with great views of Bruny Island with a great views and a couple of cheeky glasses of 🥂 you arrive at Peppermint Bay restaurant and treated to some amazing food made with local produce. The staff are superb. We could not recommend it more highly

3.00The journey was OK but although speakers were fitted everywhere the captains comentary could not be heard mostly. The food was not particularly good, very small portions and not that nice, money spent on this trip could be better spent elsewhere.
Very interesting commentary during the cruise, friendly caring staff, fantastic lunch!

5.00Hi team, We are very happy to provide feedback about our experience. We absolutely loved our lunch, every component of each course was delicious! We especially enjoyed the broccoli salad and the lamb. I'm going to attempt the salad at home, it will be a favourite to share with the family. We would also like to congratulate Zoe on her excellent service and friendliness. Such a pleasure to meet someone so lovely! The cruise was wonderful too, in all, we were very well looked after with a perfectly organized trip and lunch. Very professional and highly recommended. 5.00I had two friends visiting from the mainland and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. The boat ride was great, with good commentary, and Peppermint Bat itself was beautiful. We had a lovely 3 course meal with a glass of wine and enjoyed the day.

5.00A great trip. The large catamaran has big windows and very comfortable sears. The Captains commentary was very informative and the boat slowed and stopped at the interesting spots. The lunch in the Peppermint restaurant was outstanding. The food was varied and interesting and was served on plates in the centre of the table. Diners then held themselves from them. There was plenty to eat and it was all very tasty . We had some indifferent weather at the start of the cruise but it didn't affect our enjoyment. We were a group of ten and would all recommend this trip to you.
