What To Expect

Create your own Lisbon souvenir at a tile-making workshop. Drawing your geometric pattern has never been so fun and easy. Short presentation of azulejos and the method. Presentation of Formettes tool that will allow participants to create and draw their own azulejos pattern. 1 st step the drawings are made with pencil 2nd step are covered with the fine black marker then we erase all the pencil 3rd step coloring with watercolor - The post-workshop work - Each drawing will be worked on in Photoshop, slighly corrected if necessary and multiplied. It is with a thermal press that the design multiplied will be transferred to a ceramic tile 10cm x10cm

The instructor was very nice and explained all the steps clearly and we have a nice final product. Would be nice if more choice to make tile available, we wanted a single picture but it was a pattern repeated instead. Not sure if available to make that way.

What an amazing experience! The instructor was so personable, helpful and turned our designs into works of art. So surprised how wonderful they turned out. You create and paint all on your own using stencils to pick shapes to drawn on paper, outline with marker and then paint. Work is transfered to her computer for printing on a 4 x 4 tile. Tile printed in 6 minutes, so you walk away from the class with your tile.
Would definitely do again!!

This was so fun! Agathe was so informative and friendly. We learned so much about tile design and she was great at helping us be creative. Best part is taking home a tile we designed ourselves. Would highly recommend and so happy we did it!!

A great way to spend a few hours in the land of tile! We learned, practiced, and carefully crafted our own tiles, which will definitely be keepsakes we cherish from our trip. It was a blast to work with people from five different countries as well. Highly recommended!
