The Vancouver North Shore Tour is an excellent way to get a little light adventure before or after your cruise. This 7 hour post-cruise excursion will take you into the stunning nature that surrounds the city. You’ll drive over the Lion's Gate Bridge, walk across the Capilano Suspension Bridge, spend time at Grouse Mountain, and explore the Capilano Salmon Hatchery.

What To Expect
Lions Gate Bridge
Travel over the iconic Lions Gate Bridge and enjoy scenic views of Vancouver's North Shore. Also known as the First Narrows Bridge it crosses the Burrard Inlet, a busy route for cruise ships, recreational boaters and seaplanes. Take a look back and catch a glimpse of the downtown Vancouver skyline and Stanley Park.
Capilano Salmon Hatchery
Located on the Capilano River, the Capilano Salmon Hatchery gives visitors the opportunity to learn all about the lifecycle of Pacific Salmon. Tour through the Interpretive Centre to see the different stages of development before the juvenile salmon are released into the river. Keep a lookout, you may see mature salmon returning! Best times to view species: Chinook Adults (October – November) Coho Adults (June – November) Steelhead Adults (March – April) Coho Juveniles (All Year) Chinook Juveniles (March – May)

5.00Salmon, Suspension Bridge and Grizzly Bears. Great outdoor adventure after our cruise. We spent time at the salmon hatchery and then did a short hike to see the damn that caused the need for the hatchery. Next off to the suspension bridge where we had plenty of time to walk across the bridge and experience the tree top adventure and then the cliff walk. We ended the day on Grouse Mountain where we saw the grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola. Walked some of the trails and then warmed up in the theater seeing the movie about the bears. Sean our guide was awesome telling us what there was to see at each attraction and giving us plenty of time to see everything at each site and got us to the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Perfect way to get fresh air, activity and see some of what Vancouver has to offer before the long flight home.
