What To Expect
By land and by sea, experience the scenic beauty of British Columbia’s rugged coastline, famous Butchart Gardens and the beautiful City of Victoria with an elevated fully guided tour. Departing from Vancouver, you will head south to Tsawwassen terminal, where you will board a BC Ferries vessel for a 90-minute journey through the majestic Gulf Islands. Keep your eyes on the lookout for marine wildlife such as bald eagles, sea lions, and whales, that can frequently be observed in their natural habitat.

After arriving at Swartz Bay terminal on Vancouver Island, enjoy a scenic drive to the Province of British Columbia’s capital City of Victoria, known for its architectural landmarks, scenic inner harbour and abundance of flower beds and hanging baskets. You will have the chance to see key attractions in the city including the iconic Parliament Buildings and the historic Fairmont Empress Hotel. You will have free time to visit the unique shops and cafes along Government Street and the culturally rich area of Chinatown. Feel free to take a stroll along the Inner Harbour to soak in breathtaking views and a glimpse into the local culture.

Beautiful Victoria and Burchart gardens

5.00A long day but enjoyable and all went smoothly. The gardens were beautiful even although mid autumn and Victoria is a lovely city with lots of interesting sights. I would like to come back and see more. We had lunch at Fishermans wharf where there were plenty of options to buy and eat out on the decks with delicious fish items an d there were places to eat at Burchart which was necessary given we got back to Vancouver hotels at around 10 pm and few places open to eat. There were also cafeterias with light meals on the ferry. We had a comfortable bus and our driver Sukhan very careful and we always felt safe. Joe our guide was easy to understand and told us lots of interesting anecdotes about the history of Vancouver , the Island and Victoria. Nothing was too much trouble for him. It was a very interesting and easy day and I would recommend it.

5.00This was one of the best excursions ever! Everything went seamlessly- pick up at our hotel, the million dollar coach bus that went right on the huge ferry, and seeing the lovely channel islands on the 90 minute ferry ride. After a short ride we were in beautiful Victoria. Our guide Joel took photos of everyone in front of the famous Empress Hotel and recommended a really nice restaurant called Earl's. The food was so good! After another short bus ride we arrived at Butchart Gardens. The gardens were incredible and exceeded our already high expectations. Words cannot describe these gardens- you must experience the beauty and peacefulness yourself. We then had a short ride to the ferry. We ate dinner on the ferry- entrees were around $20 and the food was really good. We were dropped off right at our hotel at the end of the day. Our bus driver Sukhan and our tour guide Joel were fabulous. Joel did so many helpful things all day long to make our trip easy and enjoyable. Joel was the best tour guide that I've ever had for a trip. If you are coming to Vancouver for a cruise or other event, the Victoria/ Butchart Gardens trip is absolutely a must do. It will always be a fantastic memory for us.

5.00The Star coach was immaculate and Sukhan was a safe and courteous driver. Joel was very knowledgeable about Vancouver and Victoria. We did not feel rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Victoria and The Butchart Gardens! We were provided with wonderful door to door service.

5.00Ask for Joel White to be your tour guide and you will love the bus ride. He was extremely entertaining and informative. Our driver, Sukhan, was great too. Very skilled driver. It was nice to be picked up at our hotel. The gardens were so beautiful!
