Our guide Rajesh pick us up on time in a very clean well appointed Land Cruiser. Travel time to the dunes was 1/12 hours. When we arrived we were sold traditional headgear and offered to buy rides on ATV, dune buggy, falcon on the arm for photo all at extra cost which was expected. As we did not want to do these activities we were leas to an air-conditioned viewing room for approximately 40 minutes while the car tyres were defated. The dune bashing was fantastic, loved it. Plenty of photos taken and some sandblasting done. When completed had to wait while tyres were reinflated. Then a 30 minute drive to the dinner/ show place in the desert. Apparently they have to be separate because of the belly dancing is not allowed in the area of the sand dunes. After waiting about 30 minutes the starter dish was on offer which you needed to line up for. Men in one line ladies in another, silly! Food was terrible. Overcooked battered chicken and falafels, so hard you could hardly chew it, shocking. Fire breather and belly dancer were the fist two acts and were pretty good and a bit of fun. Main course was then offered. Again men on one side and ladies on the other. Plates for men were larger than for women and the men had a greater selection of food. From that point it was a free for all with a bit of pushing and shoving we got some food only then having to line up again for the BBQ meats which were literally thown onto our plates. One dried chicken leg, 2 pieces of chicken kaban and one medium kofta. Basically the food was nearly inedible. We left at least half each. One more act of a twirling dancer and that was it. Back in the car and another 1,1/4 hour drive home. Driver was excellent, dune bashing and sand boarding wonderful, rest was rubbish. Make of it what you will.

We had to wait endlessly to get to the car that brought us to the camp, causing us to miss the sunset by an hour. Again after the camp we had to wait over an hour to get the ride back. Food at the camp site was far too little. Completely desorganized and tasteless. The camel ride was just a tiny circle. The falcon picture demanded extra pay while it was advertised to be included. No personnel at the bar, Arabic coffee was out, no softdrinks available, just a tiny cup of water. Toilets were the filthiest we'd ever seen. All regards to our driver, that part of the trip was okay and he did his best to help us with the food issues, but it was to no avail. The camp site was just a mess. If it were extremely busy, I could understand, but it wasn't busy at all. It was almost deserted.

Very busy tour and completely disorganized. We were passed on to 3 different tour guides throughout the tour. Our last tour guide was amazing wish we had him from the start.

Buyer beware. You MUST bring cash with you to enjoy your package. What you buy is the bare minimum. For example, the package says camel ride. BUT this is a “short ride” in small circles. The photos advertised are of the “long camel ride” - this will cost you 20 more per person. The package says shisha BUT you can not enjoy this at your table. You will need to pay extra. The package says henna tatto BUT there are only 2 options of a very small tattoo. You will need CASH only to have a henna tattoo advertised in the photos of the safari. We were a family of 4, there was only 1 sand board and we only had 5 minutes. It was not offered again. We paid for the premium safari so as ti be seated in a separate area and not line up for the buffet. This was not honoured. The organiser of this package is deceptive, you will absolutely need cash on you.

We enjoyed the trip despite many issues and delays. First there was confusion between Viator and the tour operator about whether the trip was cancelled (it was not & my credit card was already paid), which led to delayed start. One of the vehicles did not have all seat belts working. The desert dune drive was outstanding! When we got to the dinner place we were treated poorly and told our trip did not apply to this facility and they wanted us to go to another place but we refused. The main tour operator was very nice and professional. It would be helpful if Viator provided more information about name of tour operator company as well as the name of the dinner facility.
