Morning ceremony with a personal guide in the most famous temple in Phuket – Wat Chalong.

We will meet at sunrise at 7 AM to explore the temple in a majestic morning atmosphere. It’s only you and a few local people who come to pray at sunrise time.

At first, we will pray with the monk and participate in the morning ritual – the most important ritual in the Temple’s day.

Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong)

After the ritual, we will bring food to the monk (I will give it for you). Food bringing is one of the most important in Thailand –in Thai villages you still can see how people especially wake up early to give food to the monk. Because that ritual brings luck to your day.

Also, we will make a prediction by Siamsi fortune-telling. Siamsi sticks – is a traditional Buddhist way to predict the future. Many centuries Thai locals using this ritual to get answers about the future - there are more than 28 different predictions, I will translate your prediction for you from the Thai language.

We had the privilege of booking the Private Morning Buddhist Ceremony at Wat Chalong during our holiday in Phuket, and it was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Sunsanee Wongaksorn, was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The ceremony began promptly at 7:00 AM, and Sunsanee ensured we were fully prepared and comfortable throughout the entire experience. 🙏 The Experience Sunsanee provided everything necessary for the ceremony: Lotus Flowers: She took the time to show us how to beautifully peel back the petals and explained the deep meaning behind this offering. Incense Sticks and Candles: Essential items for the temple ritual. Fish Release: We were given fish to release into the lake, a wonderful act to conclude the morning. Sunsanee's knowledge was outstanding. She provided a detailed and fascinating explanation of the origins of Buddhism and the history of the magnificent Wat Chalong temple. She respectfully guided us to meet a local monk who performed a beautiful and moving ceremony. The entire morning felt incredibly authentic and personal, thanks to Sunsanee's attentive and insightful guidance. She was patient and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. 🛍 Conclusion We highly recommend this private ceremony, especially with Sunsanee as your guide. After the ceremony, we explored a number of the charming local stalls, which was a lovely way to conclude the morning. Booking this experience is a must if you are looking for a meaningful and spiritual encounter with Buddhist Thai culture in Phuket.

Really great immersive experience. My partner and I’s connecting flight got cancelled, and our tour guide was kind and flexible, allowing us to move the date. We were the only ones on the tour. Greatly appreciated her knowledge, patience and flexibility for allowing us to experience Phuket in this way even though it maybe did not make the most sense for her. Would definitely recommend.

It was a great experience. I really enjoyed every moment of it. She is well spoken and I loved how she talks with passion of the culture and religion. She provided everything for the ceremony and at the end she was so thoughtful that we got even snacks. The ceremony and rituals were well explained with simplicity. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you, it was wonderful!

I would highly recommend booking this experience! Sunsansee was such a great guide, her english was excellent and she shared her knowledge on the temples and religion. She was able to answer any questions we had with detail. There were no other tourists at the temple at the time we were there and the experience made us feel more like locals than your typical tourist. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone that has an interest in learning about other religions and wants to step outside of the typical tourist style activities.

This was such a lovely day to start our day. The tour is very early so you can a. Beat the heat. B. Beat the crowds and C. Take part in a morning buddest ceremony. Our guide Sundanese was brilliant. She gave us so much history about Buddhism and thai rituals and we even had the honour of being a part of the morning ceremony. We got to fold our own lotus flowers, offer food to the monk, take part in a release ceremony and much much more. All of us (ages 44,43,15 and 11) found it very interesting and special. Certainly recommend a visit to this beautiful place with a tour from such a lovely lady
