Protection: In our vehicles, alcohol gel and face masks will always be available free of charge, if customers need it. The driver will advise the use of a mask and hand cleaning with mandatory alcohol gel after all stops, before re-entering the vehicle.

Sintra
Visit to the beautiful and historic town of Sintra, a UNESCO world heritage site. Discover the picturesque streets, the Sintra National Palace, the fountains, the churches, chapels and shrines.
Castelo dos Mouros
Climb to the Moorish Castle (Ticket Included) where the construction of the first sections of its wall dates from the 8th and 9th century. From the castle, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the whole region. It can’t be missed!

5.00This tour was amazing! We had Josè who truly took this tour to the next level. We didn’t do much research before booking on Get your Guide so we really allowed José to take the wheel. We went to the Turkish Castle, Quinta de Regaleria, explored Sintra, stoped for a stunning scenic lunch on the ocean, and so much more. He answered all of our questions and was a true delight to be around. A private tour can be awkward if you don’t get along with your tour guide but by the end he felt like a long time family friend. You truly don’t meet many people like José. Our tour even went 2 hours over and he never even rushed us- he even took us to the most popular gelato in town despite the wait. While Sintra was amazing, I know we had the best time possible because of Josè- so you must book him! All in all cannot recommend this tour enough. Josè recommended booking directly through Viator and make sure to contact Lisbon on Wheels before so you can truly customize your tour to be “bespoke”. If we end up back in Portugal in the next few years we would definitely book this tour with Josè again.

His knowledge of the area is incredible and he brought us to some fantastic local spots for a truly unique experience while being open to stopping off where we preferred. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to fully experience what Sintra has to offer.

5.00Fantastic tour led by the great Jose Ribeiro. We had very specific requirements in that we are tour started in Lisbon but our trip carried on to Cascais. Jose was more than happy to accommodate our travel requirements and our luggage. In fact, every aspect of our tour was tailored to our specific interests. Jose was happy to lend his expertise and his opinions, but the trip was otherwise catered to our whims. We asked to see some of the beach areas north of Cascais just to save us the day-trips we had planned. He was more than happy to accommodate. Jose is a delightful tour guide, full of stories and knowledge and energy and kindness. He really bonded with our whole family.

5.00What a magnificent day! Jose truly made our trip unforgettable. From his personal tour of the Moorish castle, to introducing us to a wonderful small wine shop, to teaching us about the region’s unique wine and introducing us to the head of the wine collective, to taking us to an out of the way restaurant that he takes his own family to, to his wonderful sense of humor and stories, Jose was one of the (if not THE) best guides we have ever had. I couldn’t recommend this trip more.

5.00This was an excellent private tour of the Sintra area and Moorish Castle. Of note, this area is HIGHLY crowded with lots of tourists, so having a private guide was VERY helpful. Miguel was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and very friendly and accommodating!! Would highly recommend!

5.00Great tour and amazing tour guide! Miguel knew everything about the city and you could ask him anything. We saw a lot of great things and he made beautiful pictures. He knew every small detail of every place and told it with joy. He also gave other nice restaurants/siteseeing recommendations for the rest of the days of our vacation. Really good!

5.00We booked this tour and we were lucky to have Miguel as a guide. He provided us with really interesting information; he knows a lot about history and culture. Next to this he told us fun facts, we were laughing all the the time and above all he made great photographs! It was a great day, only the wine tasting was a bit short.
Excellent way to experience Sintra etc.
