A good 5hrs day trip. Very informative. The cemetery was " tops" . Loved the place & well worth the visit. The monasteries on the peninsula we visited were both closed at the time but the views were great . The 1st monastery we visited was very picturesque. All up a good experience.

Visiting two monasteries and a medieval cemetery. We learned about the importance of cross stones in keeping Armenian culture, family, and history alive. Dinner by the lakeside of Lake Sevan was an extraordinary treat, with the best trout we had ever had! Our guide Hafik and driver Vahe were friendly, kind, cordial, and accommodating. We learned so much. A perfect half-day trip on the first day.
