Highly recommend this tour! Excellent value for money with a range of amazing sweet treats from the classic to the unexpected. The tour guide is lovely and friendly and provided a fascinating insight into the history of Paris and the history of many of the foods and shops. Bring your appetites and sensible shoes because there is a lot to see and eat.

Well really- where do I start. We loved our time with Stephane, our guide who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He was able to enlighten us on French customs of which we should be aware. His knowledge of the history of the area and Paris in general was impressive as he explained how this old area grew and changed over the years and the reasons behind the changes. Stephane was particularly passionate about explaining the importance of food in French culture and how to choose the very best produce We went to a number of specialty shops and tasted the exquisite produce they were famous for. We eventually ended up in a Basque restaurant where Stephane unpacked the items he had collected along the way . We all sat and enjoyed the food , explanations and accompanying wine as well as some special dishes prepared at the restaurant. There was also a delicious secret dessert. Don’t plan to rush off at the designated end time. This tour went above beyond our expectations and we felt like we were sharing a meal with old friends. Come with an open mind and heart. Thank you Stephane for a memorable tour - We take away some learning and memories of a wonderful time in your beautiful city.

The tour was very informative, with a smooth flow of information that never felt overwhelming. It lasted four hours, and our guide, Aramis, was extremely accommodating. She handled everything with professionalism and friendliness, always showing proper etiquette while also sharing fun facts about Parisian culture and history. We received practical tips that were useful both as tourists and for getting around the city. The pace of the tour was natural, never rushed, and the food selection was excellent—authentic and truly representative of Paris. We enjoyed it so much that we’re already planning to join more Secret Food Tours with her. Aramis is young, full of energy, and speaks excellent English.

We joined the 5pm Saint-Germain tour and it was absolutely fantastic. Our guide,Duniya , was outstanding – her knowledge of Paris, French culture, and the origins of the food made every stop memorable. We visited a variety of wonderful places, each with its own charm, and the evening finished perfectly as we came together for a shared feast with plenty of wine. It was great fun, full of laughter, and thoroughly enjoyed by both myself and my husband A highlight of our time in Paris!

Spent an absolutely delightful day with Stephane touring Saint Germain. We sampled caramels and macarons while collecting bread and cheeses, which we consumed at the adorable Basque-cuisine restaurant Osaba. We had a terrific group, laughed a lot, and learned a ton about Paris, its culinary history, and all sorts of other fun facts from the charming and funny Stephane. Would take another tour with him if we had the opportunity.

The only thing I would recommend on this tour, don't do the 5pm tour. We had a blast but a lot of the shops were closing. It was still so much fun. Learning the history, trying tasty treats. Stephane was a perfect tour guide. I loved that we ended with a meal all together where Stephane shared more history with us. Was one of the best food tours we've done.
