Susana is such a wonderful guide! We booked our tour of TepeTapa and Terremoto area of Guanajuato and it was awesome that it was our small group, the two of us and our guide. My friend and I appreciated that she does speak english but also taught is words in Spanish along the walk. She brought us to sights that we would have not discovered otherwise, a paper maker, a potter, and a local bakery. We tried La leche de maiz from a street vender with the addition of the most wonderful brown sugar. We walked through a vendor's area with small stalls of vegetables that looked so colorful and fresh. I have been on tours with Susanna in the recent past and she is a very good teacher of the history of this beautiful city! We will definitely book more tours as friends and family visit us, I learn something new each time. Gracias Susana

Susana is an excellent guide! She customized our tour to our interests and activity level. We stopped at private artists studios and bakeries giving a local perspective on quanajuato. Susana has a wonderful way of integrating historical information into our natural conversation.

My spouse and I signed up for this walking tour expecting to be part of a group, but we had our wonderful tour guide, Bere, all to ourselves! And what an absolute treat. Bere, a Guanajuato native, was delightful, engaging and personable, with a wealth of knowledge and insights about Guanajuato and Mexico that she shares with genuine passion and humor. We ended the generous tour at the Hidalgo Market, where she shared her favorite food vendor recs, including the best fresh tamales we have ever had. Along the picturesque way, she made great suggestions for sites, nightlife, and restaurants to consider during the rest of our stay. Our tour truly set the stage for a wonderful several days in this magical city.

This guided walking tour was incredible! Our guide, Alecxaí, was simply amazing. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Guanajuato, and he made the day so special for us. Not only did he take us to many of the major sites, but he also took us "off the beaten path" multiple times to see things and experience things we NEVER would have figured out on our own. We learned so much about the history and culture of Guanajuato, and we truly appreciated the perspective of such a knowledgable and kind local. This tour was wonderful!

This tour was an excellent, thorough overview to Guanajuato. My guide, Alecxaí, was a cultural historian with a passion for Cervantes (and there is a connection to him in the town, with a festival and library). Besides history, we visited most of the major historical sites of the center of the city as well as the market, with a good deal of discussion about the 1810 revolution (in which Guanajuato played a major part). Alecxaí's English was conversational, so I was able to gain full value from the tour even with my poor Spanish.

Antonio, our guide, was born and raised in Guanajuato. We loved that, in addition to showing the major places to see, his tour also took us past the places he was born, went to school and played. Others may find this distracting but we cherished the very personal connection and the warmth of his personality. Highly recommended!
