Interesting tour with a lot of information provided by Alex our tour guide. Time at the various stops was minimal due to the tour schedule. Not Alex's fault. Next time we would probably break it up into separate day tours to each venue, but with only a day to fit things in it was a very good overview of the sites and their history.

The highlights of the day were visiting locations not included in the price of the tour: the old and new churches in Delft and the Mauritshuis Museum (Girl with the Pearl Earring) in The Hague. These extras cost us an additional 60€ but it was impossible not to see these "on our own" time during the tour. The Delft factory tour was a bit disappointing and Rotterdam could have been skipped entirely. Our guide had basic knowledge of the cities and was probably very happy to let us explore in our own, which was fine with us. We understand that new guides need to build up their knowledge of local history, but referring to Vermeer's painting The Milkmaid as the Kitchen Lady or that "William Orange" died in 1984 is a bit too much outside the curve of general knowledge. For us, a bit too expensive for what we received. Also, the meeting point was difficult to find and could be in a more convenient location.

Our day tour to Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague was busy, touring all the cities. In each city we had a short guided tour with Alex and then some free time to wander around and soak up the vibes of the cities. Alex did a great job explaining the history behind each of the cities. Thanks for a wonderful tour Alex.

This was a small group tour. It did involve a fair amount of walking, but when the guide (I believe it was Axil) realized that my husband and I were falling behind quite a bit he would pause for a half minute or so for us to catch up. I don't think the group actually missed anything by him doing so. He also let us skip part of the walking tour and left us with the van. He gave the group a lot of information about the areas that we stopped at and we had free time as well. We were able to get a nice lunch in Delft. We also had sufficient time in Delft to do some shopping at the Delft store after seeing the factory. He would always tell us when to be back at the van to make sure a reasonable schedule was maintained. He would give recommendations for where to eat or shop when we did have free time. I was very glad to have selected this tour.
