Fantastic experience going to the top of the Liver Building. The steps were fine. You do it in 3 stages so you don’t realise. The video in the clocktower was superb. The views from the top, amazing. Even though it was blowing a gale!!!!!!

Really relaxed yet informative tour. Was slightly concerned by the mention of 124 steps but it is do-able and split by a video halfway up so don't be put off. Lovely tour guide, irish girl, really knew her stuff. Great views, really recommended it.

This building has only been open to the public since September 2019, so it's possible that many people have never had the experience, despite this being one of the great landmarks overlooking the docks. The tour is well worth going on. Starting in the basement, you travel by lift up to a certain height, from which you can look out over the Mersey and up to the huge clock (its face is slightly wider than that of Big Ben). In the bell chamber you watch a multimedia presentation of the history of Liverpool. Then you walk up a number of steps to the top level. Fortunately, the guides breaks it down into three stages, so you get some rests as you go up! Of course you get splendid views, and , if this is your first visit to Liverpool, it is a chance to orientate yourself. When it was completed in 1911 it was one of the first to be built using reinforced concrete (it doesn't look like it) and the tallest in Europe. It stands at 98.2 metres. You get to see the famous Liver Birds close to.

Really good trip up to the tower, excellent and friendly guide effortlessly reeling off information uncovering the City with surprising facts I was unaware of, and I'm a native. Impressive views at the top for some great photo opportunities.

My wife and I did the Royal Liver Building tour recently while on short weekend trip to Liverpool. I read about the experience on Trip Advisor because did not realize it was an option. Admission fee is reasonable and recommend to buy online ahead of time. Length is about 1 hour. Starts with history of building then you go up to see the one of clocks and then you walk up to top to take it all in. Great views of Liverpool area. Guide was very friendly and engaging. Highly recommend.
