Great day trip from Munich. Lucia was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable and entertaining. The structured part of the tour was a very nice overview of Salzburg and then there was free time to explore in more detail. Even the train ride back to Munich was nice because it gave you time to relax and reflect on the day. It was also a good time to share photos with friends and family. I would recommend the tour to anyone that has an extra day in Munich. I would also recommend you plan an extra day in Munich just to take the tour. You may want to rewatch the Sound of Music to refresh your memory on some of the sites you will see. Lucia did a nice job of pointing out the real scenes vs the Hollywood adds.

The tour was fantastic and our guide, Elisabeth was phenomenal. Lots of information. We met a couple from California that once resided in my home town of Elyria OH. It’s a small world! Great tour.

Confusing information on where to meet. I booked with Viator but wasn’t informed that another tour company would be handling the tour. The meeting location was unclear, just a street address that showed nothing with Viator.
