5.00Had a great experience with the east tour in Sao Miguel. Our guide was Joao and he was excellent. We took many stops and had a wonderful time. The lunch was good but the sites were the highlight. We did the hot springs and as other reviewers have mentioned, it was a bit short but still worth doing. The weather on the island can change in an instant and cloud cover can interfere with the views but the weather cooperated for us. Well worth the investment in this tour as it was fantastic.

5.00Goonacles (sp?) was great with a touch of humour that really added to the whole trip. We were off a cruise ship and the van was reserved and paid in advance for 8 passengers. We had a lesser amount of time, so we did miss a stop, but we were not disappointed in the whole day. Lunch was very good and more than enough to eat, with included beer, wine, soft drink and coffee- espresso and Americano. Goonacles was born in the Azores so we really received a personal touch to life here. Wonderful tour, highly recommend.
