For decades, Savannah has topped the list of America's most haunted cities, and it's easy to see why. Because of its vital port location, the city was continuously attacked during the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. In December 1778, the first Battle of Savannah took place, resulting in a British occupation that lasted until 1782. Savannah was seized by Union forces in late 1864 during Sherman's March to the Sea. Fortunately, the city was spared the fate of others and was not burned to the ground in the face of Sherman's army. A city that has experienced this much strife is bound to attract ghosts of all sorts. Discover the ghostly past of the Hostess City of the South, from executions to accidents, hospitals to hotels.

5.00Great tour. Tons of historical information. Not all that scary, but short of a ghost/specter making an appearance i really wasn't expecting physical thrills. Felt safe throughout given the late hour. Tour guide Minh was awesome. No dead air. Constantly sharing history, local superstitions, personal and colleague anecdotes, even recommendations for other sights and eats.

5.00Minh Nguyen our tour guide was great. My husband and I were the only ones on this ghost hunt so we got to all as many questions as we wished. It was awesome. I even captured something in a photo.

1.00Walked about a mile through Savannah anticipating this tour…arrived 10 minutes early At prescribed location. Guide never showed. No response to inquiries, no explanation, no call back, nothing. Wrecked our night and I still haven’t heard a thing. Had to take action with my credit card company even to get a refund.
