What To Expect
This is the trail running experience that take you from the sea directly to the mountain to run on a levada and inside Madeira Laurissilva native forest and finishing smoothly in a trail by the shore always with the sound of the ocean and amazing views. The first 5km are the toughest ones climbing from sea level to 900m high but then all the way is made by very easy running trails for you to relax till the end. The total distance is 28km with around 1.000m elevation gain/loss.

5.00Dino was incredibly knowledgeable and adaptable. We started out on the originally planned route but swiftly changed plans due to some leg cramping. We were able to go along an absolutely stunning part of the MIUT trail which provided excellent shade, very few spots full sun exposure. Would recommend to anyone looking to trail run in Madeira

5.00We did the 28km trail with Dinarte. It was difficult but worth it. It was a unique experience to do this with a professional, who knows the terrain and the island perfectly. The scenery was beautiful and each new trail was different! He gave us good advice, both on the island and on hikes/trails to do. We keep lots of memories in mind, and superb photographs of the trail! We highly recommend!

Difficult at the beginning, I think you need to be experienced in trail running because there is an 800m difference in altitude over the first 5 km when you climb the mountain, with the humid heat on top of that... then it is much more accessible, flat near the levadas and not too complicated descents. I run on the road so it was tense, but Dinarte is a great guide and ultra trail athlete, and I took some of the best photos of my life. I absolutely loved this excursion and suffered with a smile! Top!

5.00If you are a runner or a outdoor person, no matter what the weather is, this is definitely an experience that you don't wanna miss. Booking was straight forward and hassle free. Met with guide at the apartment and went from there. The tour is amazing! I had the Sea 2 Mountain Running Tour, the landscape and views are breath taking. My guide companion Dinarte was wonderful, kind and friendly. He kept the perfect pace while explaining me a lot of about islands nature, history, and about running of course. The local knowledge that you don’t find in any guidebook. I also received absolutely fantastic photos taken by Dinarte while our tour. It was the highlight of my Madeira trip. Highly reccomend to runners on any level.

5.00The experience was awesome. To choose the tour you want is a perfect opportunity and Dino did the best he can to make it unforgettable. I enjoyed our walk to the pico ruivo and back. He give me so many information about the nature around and answer all of my questions about land an people. Thank you so much !
