Wow what an experience. A beautiful day cycling the great taste trail from Nelson to Mapua. Unbelievable views of snow capped mountains, opportunities for food and wine tastings and welcoming residents happy to assist us on our journey. The whole experience facilitated by Kiwi Adventures was seamless - great maps and explanation and above all just fantastic EBikes and supporting equipment. Highly recommended.

The trail winds through both city, country and Forrest in this portion of the trail! Not quite as many breweries or wineries as we thought but it was a gorgeous day to ride and we stopped by 4 places and the classic car museum on our trip. We hit the Mapua ferry around 4pm and stayed in the mapua area for an hour as a nice little reward for our efforts. If we could do it again we would spend more time in mapua at the end. Bikes were great and the service was also top notch. They had a van to pick us up in mapua when we finished our ride and take us back to their shop.

You won't go wrong choosing this team. Very very good. The bikes were perfect. Instruction in the morning before leaving was great and informative. The shuttle back and also the following day was very good. The drivers were awesome and again very informative and dropped us back at our accommodation which was very good.

We had a wonderful 5 days on the Great taste of Nelson trail. The staff from start to finish were amazing. We’ve done most of the great rides now and the bikes from Kiwi Journeys were the best we’ve experienced. The accommodation was fantastic and the detail given throughout the itinerary was spot on. We particularly loved having the day off in Kaiteriteri where we had the most incredible day with Kahu Kayaks in the Abel Tasman. Thanks to Denise, Kobus, Andrew and our shuttle drivers, all of you made our trip the best ever. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The bikes were great and we were given excellent instructions on the route, including a good coffee stop. The trail was well marked also. It was a beautiful sunny day too! Would definitely do this ride again with Kiwi Journeys.

Beautiful cycle route! Absolutely loved this day out, we're not big cyclists and enjoyed the fact that this was almost enitrely on dedicated cycle tracks away from roads and through really nice scenery. Ferry to Mapua is really nice. The winery on the way and Wharf at the end was so good, we enjoyed a few pints at a brewpub at the Wharf and a wine tasting knowing we were getting taken home in the kiwi journeys van afterwards - brilliant idea!
