  Group of 4 friends did this (seniors). Loved loved loved it. Lucy was the best driver and guide ever! Skilful driving, fun and gave plenty of interesting, yet detailed history. Countryside was glorious even though it was a grey day. Just do it.

  You Tour couldn't have run more optimally. Our guide Lucy picked us up at 8.25am on time and brought us after more than 4 hours. Tour back at the hotel. There were only four of us on the bus and Lucy was a totally nice and above all knowledgeable tour guide. Great ride in the best weather with a small picnic at the destination.   What an amazing tour this was. Taking in the breathtaking scenery of Skippers Canyon, and stunning views of the Shotover River. Together with the history of gold mining and the hard life lived by those early prospectors as delivered by our driver Lucy made the day a highlight of our trip so far. Tea, biscuits and a glass of wine at halfway were an added bonus

  Was an amazing way to spend Valentine's Day with our skillful driver and guide Lucy. It was way more and wayyyy better than we expected and it was such fun! The canyon is absolutely breathtaking from every angle and we thankfully got beautiful weather today too. We got to experience the thrill of the winding and bumpy ride super close to the edge of the cliffs (but still safely as Lucy was an expert navigator of the terrain), have a little picnic, run our hands through the clear blue Shotover river and learned so so much along the way! It really was the full package experience for Skipper's Canyon we would highly recommend! Do note that if your hotel is not in central Queenstown (eg Frankton like ours) you'll have to contact them separately first for meetup arrangements. We didn't realise initially but we're grateful Lucy went over and beyond to ensure we got back safely to our accoms.

  An amazing trip offering unforgettable views. Our driver Lucy was an extremely competent driver, navigating some really narrow, windy tracks! She was very informative and had a great sense of humour. The scenic stop for coffee was a nice added touch. All in all a great fun, must do trip. Just don't look down ! Thanks Lucy !

  Great trip through Skippers Canyon with our guide "Wolfy". Fun & informative, lots of opportunities & time to enjoy the views & get those all-important photo's to remember the day. The canyon lived up to it's hype, and "Wolfy" was very knowledgeable. Excellent trip, recommended.

  Gordon, our guide and driver could not have provided a more enjoyable, comprehensive, informative and accommodating morning for our group. His local knowledge and driving skills combined into a first class commentary for the entire journey through spectacular scenery and jaw dropping vistas. A trip well worth making for anyone visiting Queenstown.

  If you are fortunate enough to have Wolfie as your driver and guide, then you are in for a treat. He picked us up from our hotel in a comfortable 4WD minibus before 8.30am and returned us nearly five hours later. Wolfie’s driving skills, intricate knowledge of the area covered and his own stories and memories was outstanding. He gave us regular stops for photo opportunities and even offered to take snaps himself if he thought that he was in a better position. Thoroughly recommended.
