Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)

Meet friendly driver at Dorsett Hotel. After 40 mins driving, you will start your exciting trip at Chengdu panda base. Enjoy your time to see the giant pandas including new born babies, teenagers and adult pandas. Learn about the different stages of panda’s life from infancy to adulthood. Scour the trees for vibrant red pandas as your tour comes to a conclusion and you will be drop-off at the same place where you get pick up.

Can't leave Chengdu without eating hotpot and seeing the pandas! This inexpensive tour was perfect if you just want to get there and don't mind walking around the breeding center by your own. Driver picked me up from my hotel (which was outside 3rd Ring Road, so I paid a little extra). I was contacted days before by the tour company to confirm my pick up! Then we drove to the breeding center and the we were let in without standing in line or any waiting! After that we got picked up again and droped of at any place in the city! Well organised!
