In this class, you will learn how to easily cook the most delicious khinkali in the world, ruddy and fragrant Imeretian khachapuri. Cooking them is quite simple and you only need to know a few secrets! The master class takes place inside the restaurant hall, not in the kitchen. We treat the participants with Georgian wine, a vegetable salad made from unforgettable Georgian tomatoes, and a plate of farm cheeses. The cook tells how to make dough for khinkali, and the guests learn how to prepare the filling for khachapuri. Participants independently prepare the dough for khachapuri and the filling, spread the cheese, and bring it to readiness. After that, everyone learns to sculpt khinkali to the chef's stories about the intricacies of cooking this dish, historical tasty details about Tbilisi, and funny stories. *the event is not held in the kitchen

The experience is as described with a small group cooking class making the dishes listed. Plenty of food for a meal and good instructions. They also share the recipes at the end. I think it would be the best experience with people you know because there was a lot of time to chat between the cooking steps. The chef explaining everything was very knowledgeable and it was easy to follow the steps. It would be nice to learn more about the food culture while doing the cooking.

We went to the master class as a must-do activity in Tbilisi and it was amazing! The chef was very nice and funny, explained all the process, origins of the dishes, and answered all our questions. Nothing tastes better than hand-made Hinkali and hachapuri! The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and cozy. Highly recommend!

Sewa’s masterclass was pure joy! He teaches how to make khinkali and khachapuri with such ease and humor that even complete beginners succeed. The atmosphere felt like visiting a friend’s home — warm, fun, and with a glass of wine in hand. I especially loved how Sewa talked about Georgian feasts and the traditions behind the toasts.

The khinkali and khachapuri masterclass flew by in one breath — full of jokes, great vibes, new connections, and the aroma of dough and wine in the air. At one point, I honestly thought I was in heaven! I live in Georgia, but it was my first time making khinkali and khachapuri with my own hands. Now I think I’ll do it more often. Highly recommend trying it and spending a wonderful time there!

Everything was nice and experience lived up to description - EXCEPT the minimum six people was exceeded by five, thus 11 attended. However, only SIX bowls were provided, so as a family of three, we had to take turns in the experience. We all got to eat, plenty, but we went for cooking, and this element was definitely disappointing.

Great experience, loved the final result. The Khinkali dough is already prepared, but rest is made there.

Loved this experience. There was only myself and another traveler so that worked out well for us given the amount of food we made and got to eat after the class. As we were finishing up the 5pm class was starting and there were around 14 people, so class sizes can vary drastically. Clear instructions, will be making both dishes again when I get home.
