The tour guide grew up on Maui. She knew every inch of the road to Hana. She told us so many amazing stories.

This was the worst tour I ever been on my life. They do not follow the itinerary that they post. They only give you eight stops. The tour operator lied the entire trip. He told us that they were road closure, and a lot of excuses and lies. And when you ask they catch an attitude with you and threaten to kick you off their bus. The tour is biggest SCAM. Please avoid them at all costs. When I contacted Viator to explain what was going on they ensured me that they would work on getting me a refund and I’m still waiting. Please stay away please.

Beauty everywhere we looked. Ed ( our driver) knew his script really well but he went off script to answer questions about the history and culture of Maui. He really shared some valuable info. Lots of light snacks and water. All the stops were lovely. This is a 10 hr trip mostly in the van. It is a long time so be prepared to sit and be comfortable. As a vegetarian, lunch was eh and sadly very generic. My husband l enjoyed his pork ribs. It felt like regional food ( as were all the meat options).

In the itinerary they say that road is closed and some cannot be done but not more than half ! The guide did not explain at the beginning showing us on a map what the original itinerary was and what we would do instead but if that is the case why not update the itinerary on Viator? The driver Glennwas very boring with his stories and the van pretty dirty with insects inside it. We woild slow down at places and tell us to take photos without stopping, we only did a few where we spent some time. The driver drove like a maniac on the way back, did not feel safe. They picked us up late and we finished early and we didn’t all the itinerary as per Viator listing. We choose this tour because of the itinerary, very disappointed, I would NOT recommend it.
