What To Expect
Join us for a unique experience to snorkel towards an all-year-round massive waterfall. Drinking water bursts out of the wall making this an incredible place to visit. In this experience we organize transport to the location, and we have a short hike (going down approximately 300 steps) to the water stream where it's time to get wet. In the wetsuits we follow the stream upwards until a beautiful, but we mean, BEAUTIFUL natural lagoon. From here we take the snorkels and swim further into the cave and reach the big waterfall. After the refreshing swim and a fruit snack we then hike back up (a different route of approximately 100 steps).

5.00SO AMAZING! The hike was beautiful. You got to see a really neat church on the way down to the waterfall and hear the backstory. Also see some vultures. The waterfall was AMAZING! Cold water, but tolerable with the wetsuit. Once and a lifetime opportunity. Jelle and kilian were our guides and they were so great. Talkative, friendly. Went way over the top. Took tons of pictures of us. If you ask, they will take one! Highly recommend.

4.00This was my favorite activity in Crete and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone that is physically able. That said, I’m giving it four stars because I think critical information is left out of the description. My partner and I are of average health in our mid forties and our sons are teenagers and we completed it without much difficulty. I would not recommend this for children under 12 unless they’re strong swimmers and have no issues with heights. I would not recommend this for anyone with mobility issues or that has problems hiking long distances, climbing stairs, swimming, etc., There is hike at the beginning and end of this trip that is pretty strenuous. I counted 189 steps on the way up and there are even more on the trip down to the waterfall. There is also a small portion where everyone has to do a small bit of rock climbing. There is a small portion where everyone needs to swim upstream, against the current, to get to the falls. I recommend sturdy shoes and would avoid flip flops. You can, and should, change into water shoes when you reach the water. Bring water - the company provides water at the start/end but if it’s hot you’re going to want some in that hike. The lagoon is also infested with influencers but one get into the gorge/waterfall they thin out. Again, I had a blast. The pictures are amazing and I would recommend this to everyone that is physically able to do it. Just know that it’s not exactly a stroll in the park.

4.00The waterfalls were breathtaking. It was a very strenuous hike down and back from the falls, carrying a heavy ruck sack with gear for 2 people. The activity also included climbing up and down rocks in the gorge. It was a cool trip and the guides were wonderful! I just wish we spent more time at the waterfalls and that I knew the hike down and back would take the majority of the time.
