This tour has no detailed itinerary online to avoid making it a Instagram "must-see". The preservation of nature is to us as tour operators more important and we want to avoid the area being swarmed by the general cruise or bus tourist visiting Bergen. We take less than 400 persons into this unique fjord area each year in a specially built Zodiac that has a marginal carbon footprint. Utilizing a sturdy catamaran hull and hydrofoil wings we cut emissions by more than 60% compared to any other tour operator. This way - a unique area is for the few that wants to stay away from the more "touristy" places.
The Veafjord Route: This option focuses on the most beautiful Veafjord along the eastern side of Oster Island -45 Min drive from the ship's port.

If you do nothing else in Bergen, please be sure to take Bjorn’s tour of the fjords. With his Zodiac raft, we gain access to the most beautiful places imaginable. In addition to the breathtaking landscape, he skillfully and (at times) humorously relates the history of the area. Bjorn is an expert guide. Thank you Bjorn for an unforgettable adventure.

Hands down, the best excursion we’ve ever done—Bergen, Norway was stunning, but Bjorn made it unforgettable. He was funny, wildly knowledgeable, and navigated us through hidden gems with the ease of a local Viking reincarnated as a tour guide. From panoramic fjord views to off-the-beaten-path stops, every moment felt personal and perfectly timed. Bjorn kept us laughing while effortlessly weaving history, culture, and jaw-dropping scenery into the experience.

As promised, a completely private tour. It felt like we had the entire fjord to ourselves, practically zero boats, glassy smooth, mirror-like water giving amazing pictures. Very comfortable pontoon boat (the other boat is a RIB). Entertaining captain Bjorn was born and raised there and had plenty of great stories. Solid 2.5-3hrs on the water, with no backtracking (start/end at different locations)—you get your monies worth. Approximately 45-1hr drive from Bergen each way (also arranged by the them). They were accommodating and attentive to our cruise ship arrival/departure times. Really a great overall experience. Our 10-20 year old kids enjoyed it as well.
