This tour has no detailed itinerary online to avoid making it a Instagram "must-see". The preservation of nature is to us as tour operators more important and we want to avoid the area being swarmed by the general cruise or bus tourist visiting Bergen. We take less than 400 persons into this unique fjord area each year in a specially built Zodiac that has a marginal carbon footprint. Utilizing a sturdy catamaran hull and hydrofoil wings we cut emissions by more than 60% compared to any other tour operator. This way - a unique area is for the few that wants to stay away from the more "touristy" places.

5.00As promised, a completely private tour. It felt like we had the entire fjord to ourselves, practically zero boats, glassy smooth, mirror-like water giving amazing pictures. Very comfortable pontoon boat (the other boat is a RIB). Entertaining captain Bjorn was born and raised there and had plenty of great stories. Solid 2.5-3hrs on the water, with no backtracking (start/end at different locations)—you get your monies worth. Approximately 45-1hr drive from Bergen each way (also arranged by the them). They were accommodating and attentive to our cruise ship arrival/departure times. Really a great overall experience. Our 10-20 year old kids enjoyed it as well.
