The adventure offered a view of the history and culture of local populations that was both stimulating, inspiring, and at times great fun. Yosuke had an amazing bank of knowledge and went off script effortlessly to answer questions on many topics. This experience encouraged me to learn more about the Japanese people and their successes and struggles over the centuries.

Lax was an excellent guide! His English is very good, so we could understand each other well. He was incredibly knowledgeable; rather than just telling us the names of the locations, he was able to go very in depth into the cultural history. He was able to answer all of my questions — even things that other Japanese friends don't know the answer to! I was really happy with our tour of Asakusa, I feel like I learned a lot. I would not have been able to appreciate Asakusa as much if I went on my own. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Ken. We made the mistake of booking on a Sunday with the weekend crowds. Ken just kept us together and calmly, sincerely gave us a wonderful tour. We said we could come back to shop on a less busy day so that we could just enjoy the experience of the shrine. He is very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you Ken.
