Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit)
Wat Traimit, also known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha, is home to the world’s largest solid gold seated Buddha statue. Weighing over 5 tons and dating back more than 700 years, the statue was once covered in plaster to hide it from invaders and was later rediscovered by accident. Located in Bangkok’s Chinatown, this temple is a must-visit for its rich history and sacred significance.

We really enjoyed this tour. They give you a good amount of time at each temple which we really liked and didn’t feel rushed like some other tours we’ve been on.

We were part of a group of four -one other couple. So it was like a private tour. Our guide Susan was very good and knowledgeable. We had a lot of free time at each venue. A very cultural experience.
