It is famous thanks to the quality and beauty of its wool textile products: rugs, jackets, bags, sarapes, tapestries, "corridors", carpeting, curtains and dresses, made on large wooden looms and decorated with natural dyes, whose designs go from the traditional Zapotec and Mixtec frets and griffins, to reproductions of contemporary painters. The elaboration of its textile is 100% handmade from the washing of the wool obtained from the sheep in the river, the carding of the wool, the elaboration of the thread through the spinning wheel, the use of natural dyes based on insects and variety of plants, until completion on their pedal looms.

Everything from the booking to the pickup to the end of the day laughter was wonderful. Our guide, Yareth spoke Spanish and English equally well and clearly loves what she does. Her stories about the sights and history were engaging and personalized so none of it felt like a classroom lecture about Zapotec history. The trip to and through Monte Albon were brilliantly detailed with the archeological process and the understanding of the culture that once called that space home. We highly recommend this tour if you like a personalized, convenient experience. Also, if you visit the Hierve del Agua, and you get to choose your lunch spot, consider the small kitchen for an authentic Tlayudas or Memelas.

Our tour guide was great and the experience was good on the whole but ‘hierve de agua’ was disappointing to say the least. Our fault as we wanted to include it but it was not worth the journey.

Full tour ideal to know several Oaxacan emblems in a single day, but without running. Our guide Ishmael shared valuable information and perspectives about each place we visited. We emphasize its warmth and professionalism from start to finish. We had a great day and left very happy! Thank you!!

Absolutely amazing tour! Cannot rate Miguel high enough. He was knowledgeable and passionate about his home and it made the places we visited come alive. We never felt rushed during the tour. If you do one tour in Oaxaca this should be it - you won't regret it!

A wonderful way to experience a lot of the must dos in Oaxaca in one trip! Ismael was our tour guide and so knowledgeable, kind, and easy to work with. We started early which was great because we beat the heat and the crowds. If possible, get a trip with him!

Ismail was awsome!! 10 out of 10. He arrived early at 5:45am and encouraged us to take naps between stops if the drive was long, which I did. He was very patient and tweeked the tour to our wants/needs. Even though the tour went over by 2 hrs . He was still very patient. The SUV was clean and comfortable with air con. When we got to Monte El alban he switched seamlessly from driver to tour guide. You can't go wrong with him!!
