Our guide, Lorus, was incredible. He speaks multiple languages, is a level 3 sommelier, a certified balsamic expert, has great knowledge of the production aspects of these wonderful foods and also has a great sense of humor. His demeanor only elevated such a wonderful experience with the cheese and the prosciutto. He also took us to Modena to the areas oldest acetaio. I did not see that option when we booked, but he allowed us to add it. Lorus' trip is a DEFINITE MUST EXPERIENCE.

This was much better than expected. The parmigiano plant was interesting and there was ample cheese to taste. The ham factory was awesome. The owner was the sweetest host. So generous in terms of his time and his prosciutto! Fun afternoon

I learned a lot about the foods I like to eat, and it was very cool to see, smell, and taste the actual process of making Parmesan and Prosciutto in person. We got to visit/witness many aspects of the quaint, local factories, which made it feel like a very unique, exclusive, and behind the scenes experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. He took great care to learn the names of each person in our tour group, and make us feel involved and engaged throughout the experience.

I had a great time on this tour. Loris was a fantastic tour guide and ensured that our group had the best experience. During this tour, you get an up close look at how Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese is made as well as Parma Prosciutto. The tour was very informative and the best part is the free samples of the products! You should definitely consider this tour if you are staying in the Emilia-Romania region!

The best Parmigiano and Prosciutto experience you can get! Everything was perfect! Starting with our guide — Daniela — she was amazing: very kind, an excellent speaker, and full of knowledge about the region, explaining everything in a fun and engaging way. The Parmigiano experience was a true gem! We got to see the entire cheese-making process step by step, and it ended with a fantastic tasting, pairing the cheese with a delicious Italian wine. Then came the prosciutto visit — we went to the smallest approved Prosciutto di Parma factory, where we met the actual owner, who personally sliced the tasting pieces right in front of us! It felt like pure, authentic Italy — authentic Parma! An experience absolutely worth repeating and recommending. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
