Gastro Tour Seoul takes adults to visit a true artisan Korean Brew Master's workshop. With food and drinks included, you'll be introduced to quality Korean traditional alcohol as Soju(distillation alcohol), Takju(the original form liquor for Makgeolli), Makgeolli and Yakju(rice-brewed wine) from this local brewer.

You'll have the opportunity to learn about the entire process of turning rice into Soju and Takju(Makgeolli) and you'll venture deep into the heart of Korean alcohol culture as you explore this hidden brewery known only to the true locals.

This 2.5-hour-long tour will introduce you to master artisans who brew and distill according to time-honored methods. The tasting sessions are followed by a traditional homemade Korean lunch or dinner served together with bowls of Makgeolli.

This tour introduces Korean Traditional Hospitality when guests visit my place. We serve guests homemade meals and home-brewed alcohol together.

One less star because direction on where to meet was not very clear. For someone who is not familiar with the area, the meeting place was a little difficult to find. It’s a good thing we left early. The good part, YG, our tour guide was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. He speaks very good english as well. Getting to see a brew master was very cool and our dinner was delicious. YG is a great start on our 1st day of our tour!

We (a couple) had an awesome experience, even with just two people. Our guide,Veronica, was very knowledgeable, funny and kind. The masterbrewer was similarly cool and served us delicious traditional rice wine. The food at the end is incredible and not to be missed. Great to eat food from a different part of Korea. Highly recommend!

We booked this tour as a private tour for the 5 of us. We were pleasantly surprised that the soju brewers place was in the Bukchon Hanok Village. Such a lovely, peaceful area to walk around in the evening. Our guide, Veronica, was friendly and knowledgeable. The dinner afterwards was delightful.

It was very fascinating to learn about how each traditional alcohol is made and we enjoyed our trip to the brew master’s workshop. The dinner was very interesting, and although it wasn’t really our taste, it was still interesting to try the traditional seafood dishes.
