I want to sincerely thank my Tour Guide, Pak Dika, for helping me exploring Ubud, Bali. It was such an amazing and unforgettable day, full of experiences and insights. From the start, Pak Dika, picked me from my hotel, and before the tour began, he kindly briefed me through itinerary and ask me whether I have any other places I would like to visit. At that moment, I can see that he was a very nice guy and also flexible. Along the way to the destinations, he shared his experience of being tour guide, told me stories about how he grew up as Balinese with the thick balinese tradition/culture in Ubud. I learned a lot from him, much more than I expected. Each of the place Pak Dika took me to has its own unique charm, I would say. Some have beautiful view like the rice terrace and the tegenungan waterfall (I felt very refreshed visiting these two), some have sacred vibes like the Goa Gajah Temple and monkey forest, and some ware simply fun like Batik Galery and Jungle Swing (Jungle Swing was definetly my best expereince, it was nerve wrecking but also exciting. I loved it very much. I also requested to visit Ubud Palace to watch Balinese Dence. Here I really really need to thank Pak Dika, because he explained, in detail, the meaning of the traditional dance, and how it is used as part of the tradition. The dance itself was interesting and because it uses Balinese old languange, and not many people understand that. Thanks to Pak Dika, I was able to understand the significance and the meaning of this traditional dance. After the tour, Pak Dika, drove me back to my hotel. through out the day tour, I really felt being taken care. This was how a private tour should be. I was very heppy and satisfied. All in all, not only Pak Dika took me to many beautiful places around Ubud, he also accompanied me everywhere and shared his insight about the histories, balinese tradition and cultures.

Ok, I had a nice day but it's important that you know this was NOT a tour: There was no one guiding me through each of the locations with information about them or Ubud. I was picked up from my apartment, and that person drove me from place to place. He was really nice and showed up on time, but spoke little English. The van was comfortable, and he let me stop at a bakery at the end to get a snack. Some of the places listed were different than what we actually went to, but still ok. Think of it as a hop on hop off bus, only it's a van lol. If you are just looking for transportation to see a bunch of stuff this is a good buy, but if you're looking to do a tour I would not get this service.

We had an amazing day exploring Ubud, all thanks to our fantastic driver and guide, Mr. Sutha. From the moment we were picked up, everything was smooth, professional, and welcoming. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and extremely courteous throughout the trip. The car was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. We felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire time.
