Embark on a wildlife and scenery tour of Howe Sound, the southernmost fjord in North America. Unlike taking a larger boat, or an open Zodiac, our boat is covered so it provides ideal protection from the elements, with large openings ideal for viewing and photography and a marine toilet.

Howe Sound UNESCO biosphere reserve is the southernmost fjord in North America, it is home to a diverse array of marine wildlife, keep an eye out you might have a great chance of spotting humpback whales, killer whales, seals, sea lions, porpoises, and various seabird species such as bald eagles, ospreys, and cormorants. The wildlife and Scenery tour provides opportunities for guests to get up-close and personal with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat without disturbing them. The tour navigates through breathtaking scenery, including rugged coastlines, lush forests, and towering mountains. Guests can admire panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and capture stunning photo opportunities. What an amazing experience! We went on a wildlife tour with Victor in May 2025 and can’t recommend this enough. The boat was lovely, lots of knowledge and experience shared from Victor and a smaller boat with capacity for 10 felt really personable. We saw Sea lions, seals, eagles and some beautiful views! No whales this time but I will definitely be back soon to try again!!!

Brilliant experience. Victor was a fabulous host and the equipment available was all top quality. We were lucky and also saw eagles, hawks and a ravin. Felt really safe and my friends who hadn't experienced anything like this before absolutely loved it. They will be kayakers for life!

I booked this tour for my birthday, and it turned out to be the most amazing boat trip of my life! It exceeded all my expectations. Our guide Victor was incredible - friendly, helpful and super knowledgeable about the marine life. Thad troubles finding the meeting point at first, but Victor called me and even came to meet me and my son to guide us to the boat. One of the highlights was seeing massive sea lions! We got pretty close to these majestic marine creatures, and the most amazing part was that one of them looked like he was enjoying our attention - even posing for the camera like a star! The whole experience felt like being part of warm and welcoming family. Highly recommended!

Me and my partner had the best day! Victor was welcoming and friendly, putting your mind at ease for the whole trip! He had a wealth of knowledge and experience and knew where to find the wildlife. As we were lucky enough to have the boat to ourselves with victor, he went the extra mile to make sure our trip was memorable and enjoyable throughout. On the tour expect to see a range of wildlife, in its most natural environment, up close as the boat is small enough to not disturb the creatures you’re looking for. The weather was stunning, the water was so inviting, we couldn’t resist jumping in and swimming around. Victor was more than accommodating, by offering us wetsuits and taking us the most scenic swimming spot about the man made reef HMSC Annapolis. Victor, we would both like to thank you! I would recommend this company and tour to anyone looking for an exciting and fulfilling day out! .

This is the best experience I’ve done in Vancouver. Amazing views of Howe Sound and so much wildlife to see; we saw Bald Eagles, Sea Lions and Harbour Seals. Victor is a fantastic guide and very knowledgable about the area. I can’t recommend this enough, thank you PNW expeditions.

Had an amazing time on the wildlife boat tour with Victor! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and informative. We saw incredible wildlife and learned so much along the way. Highly recommend this tour!
