What To Expect
San Miguel de Allende
We will move from Fábrica la Aurora to visit our favorite vineyard. We will begin our tour exploring the beautiful gardens of the place, while admiring the architecture of the hacienda. We will dive into the history of wine in Mexico and learn about the origins of this vineyard. In addition, we will learn about the varieties of grapes cultivated and the favorable conditions that Guanajuato offers for their growth. We will continue our adventure exploring the production area, where we will delve into the fascinating winemaking process. Afterwards, we will go to the cellar, where the aging and maturation of the wines takes place. The most exciting part is yet to come: we will enjoy a tasting of three wines paired with delicious local cheeses and meats in the charming viewpoint of the vineyard. If you are a wine lover, get ready to discover the most awarded winery in the state of Guanajuato, come and enjoy an unforgettable experience.

5.00I highly recommend this experience. We had a lovely drive from Fabrica la Aurora to the Lavista winery. Our driver Alain was charming and courteous. We toured the vineyards and winery with Estefania. She was very informative about the wine making process and patiently answered our questions. We tasted three wines with a cheese board while taking in the view of the San Miguel de Allende countryside. Very chill and relaxing. After the tour Alain drove us back to our home in San Miguel de Allende. Perfecto!

5.00It was one of my favorite experiences of the whole trip. We asked if they could pick us up from our hotel, Rosewood, and I think because it was just my husband and I for the tour, they were so nice and picked us up. The driver, Leo, was super nice. Our tour guide, she knew everything about the wine, the vineyards but more importantly, was just fun. The wine and cheese/fruit pairings were 10/10. Highly recommend!

5.00Amazing vineyard experience. The grounds are impeccably kept and the owner spared no expense with architecture and construction. Stephanie was a fantastic host; professional, friendly and very educated about all things relating to this vineyard, operation and the wine.
