What To Expect

Pyramids of Giza

We give you the opportunity to visit The main Highlight of the Egyptian History named by The Pyramids dated to 2620 BC ,4th dynasty. The main reason of building The pyramids was burying the Kings body inside . Your guide will pick you up from the hotel and will accompany there ,showing you The Great Pyramid named after King kufu ,4th dynasty 2620 BC ,where you see and climb it using special stairs to go up ,in case if you wanted to visit in from inside ,you can buy an additional ticket there. Then your guide will explain to you the history behind The king Chefren Pyramid who built the Sphinx Statue as well. After that you will continue to visit and see The Panoramic view where you can see all the pyramids in one line and there you will have a free short camel ride. Layer on you will visit The Great Sphinx and there your guide will show you the best angle to make photos. Then you will return to your hotel with your unforgettable memories.

My sister, Naima, and I were fortunate to book their tour, and every single detail was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. From the moment we were picked up, the service was flawless. Our driver, Mr. Hussein, was excellent – punctual, safe, and incredibly courteous. The comfort of the transport set a perfect tone for the day. The real star of the show, however, was our tour guide, Mrs. Mona. To call her knowledgeable would be a vast understatement; she is a true scholar and a brilliant communicator. Her passion for Egyptology was infectious. She didn't just recite facts; she wove a captivating narrative about the ancient people, their amazing intellect, and the history that brought the stones to life. As someone with a strong interest in history, this trip deepened my fascination immensely. Mrs. Mona was also incredibly understanding, patient with all our questions, and her fluency in multiple languages was impressive. The itinerary was perfectly paced. We had a fantastic tour walking around the majestic Pyramids, soaking in their grandeur, before hopping on the bus for a short ride to the Sphinx. It was seamless and well-organized. With my daughter, we visited Egypt for the first time in February, with fears and doubts, but everything was wonderful, magnificent experience, a dream fulfilled, Ahmed and Rasha are wonderful people, kind, with exceptional Spanish, we always feel safe and accompanied by them. I will definitely contact them again on my next trip.

Our family of 4 (two boys ages 7 and 4) did this private tour. We loved our tour guide, Rasha, and our driver, Hamada. We were picked up at our Airbnb, and we went straight to the pyramids. Having the tour guide made navigating the ticket and security process a breeze. Rasha was very knowledgeable and we could tell she enjoyed sharing the history. As expected, our kids made it difficult due to their short attention span, but Rasha was able to guide us appropriately. She worked well with Hamada to make sure we reached each destination quickly. The kids enjoyed the camel ride and the dune buggy/quad experience the most. Having Rasha plan everything took all the stress away.

Amazing tour guide. Took the stress out of our trip by sorting checks, transport and advised on hotels. Organised all the small details and communicated every stage what would happen next (both prior and during the holiday). The tours were informative, friendly and she was patient with our children (aged 9, 7 and 5). Rocha recommended places to see that were amazing and we'll be taking lifelong memories home with us to the UK.

There will be two parts to this review, main review and stuff to watch for and protect yourself as a tourist. Overall the experience with Rica Tours has been pleasant, easy to book via trip advisor and communication between host and us is excellent, not only confirming your booking, but also offering you other ideas for your trip in Egypt. Our tour guide was a lady by the name of Fatima, who was pleasant, informative and clearly enjoyed her job sharing vast knowledge of ancient Egypt. Fatima took us to many places we would of not seen if we went on our own, and helped with many photo opportunities. Our taxi driver we had called Ali was kind and courteous who had a clean car and had water, snacks and tissues at hand for our trip. Door was always opened on your behalf and his driving abilities where on point. Now for the other points, this is not directly related to the tour guide, but more so towards the tourist hotspots you will visit; -Always make sure you know what you will be getting with your package, if unsure, confirm with the host ahead of time. -Make sure to carry some small note change for the small hustles that happen whilst out and about. Gratitudes are somewhat essential, and i would recommend 50EGP each time to save any embaressements on your part. -Don't feel forced to say yes to everything, you can say no and although it feels wrong to say no to the lovely hospitality of the locals, have your limits. Overall though, we had an amazing day and would recommend having a tour guide to fully appreciate what Egypt has to offer with its deep roots and history over 1000s of years.

We had a tour to the pyramids at our first day in Egypt . We enjoyed every moment there . It was fantastic when we rode camels and took pictures with the people there . We really enjoyed.

I had an absolute blast with our tour guide Khalefa. He was very knowledgeable, flexible and most off all very friendly. (And a great personal photographer) Furthermore the driver was very friendly and the car was very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
