I don't recommend anyone doing this experience... It's very expensive to see 4/5 species of animals that are fed to stay there. Even worse is that after an hour everything is seen because the park only has one path and that path only has 6km of road. They also have a pedestrian walkway but it's also ridiculous. It's more of a visit to the hotel garden, because this park is a hotel that opens its garden a few days a week. I paid a lot of money for a robbery. I have a lot of Safari experience and this is nothing like that. Don't do anything to avoid becoming like me!

The guide was a true expert : a walking encyclopedia of the local flora and fauna of the region. My best memory would be my glimpse of a leopard, which was perched atop a rock, surveying its domain. If you're longing for an authentic rendezvous with wildlife, then this is the best experience.

This wilderness safari had it all. Stunning landscapes, great animal viewing and a fascinating cultural experience. It met all my expectations of a typical wilderness adventure.

I booked this solely because they include leopard feeding and I wasn't disappointed. You could argue this is cheating slightly but the leopard I saw was in his own huge part of the reserve with plenty of room to roam, just that he is getting old for hunting and needs help. The experience of him going up the tree for the meat left there and then coming right to our jeep for more was just fantastic. I could get lots of fab photos and - here is the crucial bit - I never saw another leopard anywhere else in Namibia despite several game drives. They are elusive creatures! I also saw giraffes and wildebeest at the gates before I even got to reception and then on the afternoon game drive there were more giraffes, zebra and even some hippos which is quite rare. We had a picnic at sunset and the colours driving back were amazing. A long day but so worth it. Note, Opatrip aren't the best company, there were several admin mix ups with my booking over getting a driver available, pick up time, including the lunch etc. I'd recommend booking direct with Dusternbrook Farm for the drive packages then get your own driver/transport.

Nice setup but the tour is not worth the price. Paid US$400 to see very few animals. I would recommend people to book directly not via this platform. It’s called Dusternbrook Guest Farm. Very experienced tour guides though.

This game drive started in the morning, in the wonderful bushes in Africa and for the next 3 hours we experienced the wildlife of Africa in its most natural possible environment. We took so many photos for our memories. And the next 2 hours, we enjoyed cultural urban aspects of Windhoek, with with lunch at the traditional restaurant. It was a fantastic experience. Do not forget to take your binoculars to completely enjoy this drive tour.
