Upon arriving at the Terracotta Army Museum, skip long ticket lines (fees included) and explore this UNESCO site. Start with Pit 1, the largest pit, where over 6,000 life-sized, uniquely crafted terracotta warriors (2,000+ years old) showcase distinct ranks, armor, and weapons—built to protect Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Next, visit Pit 2 to see crouched archers, cavalry, chariots, and ongoing excavation/restoration work. Then head to Pit 3, the believed command center that reveals Qin Dynasty military structure. Andy, at the Terracotta Army was absolutely excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history in a way that was clear, engaging, and easy to follow. You could really feel his passion for the site, which made the whole experience much more meaningful. He was also very patient, open to questions, and attentive to the group. Visiting the Terracotta Army with him made a huge difference and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a deeper and more authentic experience. The meal we had in the village as well was amazing, real local people, thank you so much guys!
