Join us for a Sake tasting session with a local Sake lover, with 10kinds of Sake and some Japanese snacks!! It takes around 1.5 hour and you will get to know Sake!!
Experience Sake in a restaurant with us while learing about basic information of Sake and the differences between region, production method and tempreture.
If you like to drink more, we can serve you more glasses and refill too!! So you do not have to think of saving drinking also!!
Some Sakes are rarely seen outside Japan, so it wil be the activity that you can only experince when you are in Japan!!
We would like to interactive with you, do not be afraid to ask us some questions about Sake, culture, drink places... everything about Japan!!
■Additional Food
In case you want to enjoy Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) and Wagyu Sukiyaki(Hot pot), you can also try them with additional fee!! However, this is optional so if you like to know more, you can comment or ask us when you arrive :)

What To Expect
Sake Tasting Experience In the session, you can learn about Sake in general and enjoy the difference by tasting around 10 varieties of Sake!! The content will be knowing and experiencing ・How to drink Sake and basic information ・The difference between Sake quality classification (aka. Junmai / Daiginjo etc.) ・The difference between Sake from each part of Japan etc.

5.00Our guide had handouts and went into a thorough explanation of the different types of sake, how they are made, tastings included 10 samples, from lowest to highest quality sake. Included snacks. Enjoyed talking and drinking with our guide who is a chef at Nomuno. Only issue-it was a bit hard to find, posting pictures here!

5.00The tasting with Matsu was great! We received a booklet on some basic information, but he told us a lot about sake in general. We tried so many, and they all tasted high quality. We got some nuts and soy beans in between. It was a really good experience!

5.00Our sake tasting with Mutsu was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Mutsu's knowledge of sake is extensive. We also took advantage of the yakiniku dinner option - which I highly recommend!! A fantastic value all around! Thank you Mutsu!!

5.00Great experience, tasting the various samples, the guide explained the various differences between tastings. I learnt that an expensive bottle is probably worth the money. It's a shame Sake is so rare in the UK. The tour Guide was excellent.

5.00Great activity and experience to try with friends and family! We enjoyed our time with Mutsu and he was very knowledgeable about sake! We learned quite a bit and have a new appreciation for sake and know what to look for now. The restaurant is also very delicious (we went twice!) All in all, definitely would recommend for sake enthusiasts and/or amateurs looking for a good time with food and drinks!

5.00We ended up being the only 2 people so it we had a private tasting! We learned SO much about sake. He was very knowledgeable and even had printouts we could take home with us! We had a great conversation with him about all things Japan - sake, food, customs, phrases. And the best part… like 10 tastings! And he would pour more! The highlight was definitely the fortified sake! Omg! I looked for it everywhere! He told us where to try and find it, but alas no luck! I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone that is planning a trip to Japan.

I booked at an unusual time for drinks (noon) and on a Wednesday so I was alone but it was nice because the guide spoke English very well and we had great conversations about saké and about Japan. He also gave me some information sheets. This was a great activity I certainly recommend it!
