Enjoy our 1 hour river cruise through the old and new part of Berlin. Take in a different perspective on the buildings while our tour guides give you all the information you need in an entertaining way. Our guides provide the information in German and English using their own personality. For this we have received the Certificate of Excellence in 2023 and in the past years. We will sail through the Old and New part of Berlin including the City Center and the Governmental District. The excursion can take place no matter if its hot, cold or rainy. We do have a panoramic roof than can be closed within seconds in case it starts to rain. And it can be opened again just as fast.

What To Expect

Spree

Discover the city from the water: The Reederei Hadynski enables its guests to get to know Berlin from a special point of view. On board the two glass panorama ships MS Carola and MS Franziska, tour guides will present the one-hour boat trip live and explain the exciting cityscape of Berlin. On the daily trips from March to December, guests can take in the panoramic view with a beer or a cup of coffee. When its not cold the roof will be completely open for the best views. In case it starts to rain the panoramic glass roof can be closed within seconds. Thanks to the large window areas, everyone will still be ensured an optimal view when the guides explain the highlights of Berlin, such as the Berlin Cathedral or the Reichstag.

We chose the English version of the trip and our guide was knowledgeable of the buildings we passed and with extremely good English. Drink service on board if needed and these could be delivered to your seat. Drinks not included in the price. It was a very cold day and the roof was closed and it was warm and cosy.

Great way to experience the city with a nice peaceful boat ride down the river, our tour guide was fantastic, very informative, Downside was it was raining when we went but as the boat has a clear cover we still got to see the sites. I cna imagine on a lovely summer day with that top open it would be amazing

I absolutely loved this short cruise. So increase how divided the country was and in some ways, still is. The architecture from one side of the other was profound. Thank you to our amazing (and funny) guide and the team. I loved it! The red wine wasn’t bad either.

I hour long tour. Very good guide. Lovely staff on board. Very grateful for the fact that the boat had a lovely glass roof & sides with heating as it was cold & wet.

The tour guide made the boat trip super entertaining and fun. He explained everything in both English and German in a very understandable way and also addressed further questions. Despite the bad weather, the voyage was pleasant, the ship was covered and heated. There was the possibility on board also to order drinks that staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a nice experience which I can only recommend.

Guide was knowledgeable but this English speaking tour was really half English half German. It was difficult to hear the guide mostly because other people behind us were carrying on conversations. Good thing to do on a cold rainy day, but visibility was limited due to boat cover being covered in water. Boat was warm and restroom very clean.

The guide provided some context, history and jokes in both languages for the full 1 hour tour. The seats are comfortable and drinks are available. Ideal for resting or when walking is not possible.

Would 100% do this again, got to see all the best sites along the river. Guide was brilliant, spoke perfect English, good comedic timing as well as very informative on the sights. Really enjoyed hearing about the gold coin heist along the river as, as an Englishmen, I would’ve never known about it otherwise. All in all perfect experience, well priced and great for all ages. I went with a family member with reduced movement and a brain injury and he found it very enjoyable and fairly easy to board. Thanks for the lovely experience and I hope to bring other family members to do it in the future.
