Experience Berlin in the most exciting way while driving Yourself in a street legal mini hotrod past Berlin's main attractions. You quickly become an attraction yourself.
The tour starts at the legendary R.A.W. site, which is still the last piece of "real" Berlin and takes you past the Berlin Wall (Eastside Gallery) to Alexanderplatz, via Hackescher Markt, Friedrichstraße, past the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz and Gendarmenmarkt.
Before we hit the road, you will receive a theoretical and practical briefing on our premises (approx. 10-15 min). Afterwards we will guide you safely and always in formation through the city (approx. 75-80 min). If you want to take a photo, let your guide know and he will take a little photo break. Our tours are uncommented, as the focus is on the road and the driving experience. Safety comes first.

Driving license is mandatory. We won’t accept a copy or a picture on the mobile phone
You have a guide. But be aware that you are driving through traffic yourself. Inexperienced or unsafe drivers should not take part.
There are no refunds for no-shows, late arrivals, alcohol consumption or failure to present a driver's license.
Minimum age is 18 years
Sturdy shoes are essential (no flip flops or high heels)
If it's raining or similar we have to cancel the tour and we will refund you or re-schedule it
€500 security deposit required. This can be paid by credit card, debit, or cash

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What To Expect
Hot Rod Tour Berlin
The start and end point of our tour is the RAW site. The RAW area in the catchment area of Warschauer Straße in Friedrichshain is a space for intercultural projects, exhibitions and markets as well as home to many clubs and bars. RAW stands for Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk. It is an alternative cultural project.
Berliner Fernsehturm
The journey continues towards the television tower and we turn off behind it.

1.00Arrived 5 minutes late because it was difficult to find this location, tucked into the bottom of a driveway area, no signage. The tour left without us and we were not offered a refund. Very frustrating experience.

1.00I was really looking forward to this tour, but it turned out to be unsafe and poorly managed. Two participants in our group drove dangerously, running red lights, nearly hitting a scooter rider, using their phones while driving, and ignoring the safety car’s instructions. They constantly broke formation and caused parts of the group to miss green lights. Despite repeated warnings from the safety leader, they were still allowed to continue. This made the rest of us feel unsafe and forced us to stay hyper vigilant instead of enjoying the drive. I raised my concerns directly with the leader, but he only told them off again rather than removing them as he had said he would if anyone drove unsafely. The route itself was also disappointing. We spent around 15 minutes stuck in a traffic jam due to major roadworks (clearly long term ones, given the site buildings and barriers) which suggests poor planning. The cars themselves are fun to drive, but overall the experience was stressful, unsafe, and not well organised. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they improve safety enforcement and update the route planning.

5.00Had an absolute blast zipping thru Berlin in our pack of mini cars. Our guide was great. I was the last car in the pack and worried about getting separated at red lights but no problems with that at all. Make sure you wear comfortable, thick soled shoes or sneakers. And make sure you are comfortable at the start. I needed a back pillow since my leg didn’t comfortably reach the peddle. The cars accelerate very quickly and were easy to control and maneuver. Everyone does look at you and take pictures. And suggest bringing an extra layer and wearing sunscreen. So much fun!

5.00This was an absolutely fantastic experience. I went for the 90min one as I didn't have time for the longer one. You see all the main sites and they stop near some so you can get plenty of photos. The guys who run this were extremely friendly and helpful. The car is brilliant to drive, it's so much fun. It's very easy to get used to for drivers that aren't very confident. All big cities should do this.
