Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang)
Day 1: Beijing - Xian In the morning, Please make your way to Beijing West Railway Station to take the high speed train to Xian. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you at the train station according to your train schedule. Then you will be transferred to visit the City Wall, which is the most complete preserved and the largest city wall in China. It was built for the military defense in the ancient time. Bike riding on the City Wall is available and optional.
Drum Tower Square
Next, visit the Bell and Drum Tower Square. It is located in the center of Xian city. You will have some free time to take memorable photos of the outside appearance of Bell and Drum Tower.
Muslim Quarter
Muslim Street . This is a bustling street with various food. Our guide will introduce the local flavor to you. If you like, you can try some delicious local snacks here.

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Today’s tour starts with the world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is known as ”the Eighth Wonders of the World", the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture. It is located about 30km east of the Xian Central City and it takes around 50 minutes drive. The original site was found by four local farmers drilling a well in 1974. Now it has turned into the most important attraction in Xian - Terracotta Army and Horse Museum. The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3 as well the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. The Pit 1 is the largest in the three. The museum and the mausoleum are listed the world's cultural legacies by the UNESCO.
Beijing West Railway Station
Drop-off service will be provided properly. You will be transferred to Xian North Train Station to catch the return way train to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, Please make your way back to your home/hotel. Have a nice journey.

5.00Don’t let the 6 hour train ride intimidate you. This trip is fantastic and WORTH IT. Lenna contacted me as soon as my trip was booked. She is very efficient and communicative, which is so appreciative especially if you are traveling by yourself. The train tickets were already waiting for me at my hotel when I checked in and she gave me detailed instructions. (Be advised: they drop you off at the station and you figure it out yourself but download the Google Translate app and you’re good). She’s great! Then there’s Michelle, my guide in Xi’an. She was so nice and funny and just a great person. I would recommend you ask for her when you book this tour. The sites were fantastic. The Terra Cotta Warriors are beautiful and breath-taking but just be prepared to fight your way to front because Pit 1 is so extremely crowded and there’s no ventilation in there.

5.00My praise for this tour began before I even left the US. I contacted China Tours through WeChat and was connected with Lenna. She was informative about this trip and was gracious enough to answer my general questions about travel in China. This trip requires you to be in your lobby the morning of the first day where a driver takes you to the train station and you board train with tickets sent to your hotel several days in advance. The tour guide meets you in the train station and takes you to driver and car. We had them stop for lunch after the 6 hr train ride which was no problem. Then you have 4 hour tour of the city wall and Muslim quarter. You are taken to 4 star hotel and we had a room on 20th floor looking out onto the city wall that is lit up at night-beautiful. Breakfast brunch included and then off to see the terra-cotta army. Awe inspiring site. Lots of information provided by guide and then off to another 5 star hotel and lunch. Note: this was a bit rushed as we had a train to catch by 2:38. Guide took us to station entrance and a driver was waiting for us when we got back to Beijing. Well worth the cost!

5.00This amazing trip was a perfect get away from Beijing. Our tour Guide, Lucia, was amazing. Without Lucia the trip would have been very good but with her expertise the trip was fantastic. She made my grandson and I feel right at home in this new city. I would highly recommend this excursion. If you can get Lucia as your guide that would be a plus.
