What To Expect
Depart from Kewalo Basin Harbor, located in Honolulu and Enjoy coastal views of the south shore of Oahu as we head to our snorkel spot. Experience guided snorkeling at an offshore reef commonly home to sea turtles and tropical fish. Our experienced team will get you familiar with snorkel gear and the best techniques so you can make the most out of your time in the water. Visit Diamond Head state monument & Offshore Waikiki (Great Photo opportunity!) and Stop along the way to see any turtles, dolphins, or whales (in season). Crew will share local knowledge and the cultural history of the area. (We’re always happy to answer questions!). Help yourself to the refreshments we have on board (local juices, water, sodas). Cruise back to the harbor with salty hair and a newfound love for the ocean!

5.00If I could leave 10 stars, I would. This experience was amazing! We booked an early morning charter and it was probably the best way I can think of starting our day. Nick and Sam were amazing tour guides! They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable, patient……amazing. Oh and the experience was great! Perfect weather, calm waters, not too cold water and we actually got to see turtles!! It goes without saying, take the semi-private charter like we did. Well worth the money. If and when we come back, we’ll book another one. Thanks Sam and Nick!

5.00Captain Sam and crew, Nick, were top notch! Communication and parking were easy. Being in a small tour is the way to go-you have a more personal experience and can move about the boat without having to climb over anyone. We were with a family of four who had two young children with them who had never snorkeled. Nick was super patient and thoughtful with the kids. He made sure they had a great first experience and felt safe in the water. We never felt rushed and had a lot of time in the water to really enjoy the reef, the different species of fish, and of course the turtles! Nick taught us all about how to identify the females from the males and how they rest on the deeper part of the reef. After we snorkeled, Captain Sam took us over to see Diamond Head and then we cruised back to the marina. Plenty of cold waters, sodas, and juices on board. Highly recommend this small tour-you won't be one of the faces in a sea of snorkelers-you'll get individualized attention and have an awesome trip!

5.00I bought the snorkeling charter for my daughter (local) and her boyfriend (visiting from the mainland) and they LOVED every minute of their snorkeling experience. They said this was a once in a lifetime experience and they would recommend Hawaii Ocean Charters to everyone!!!

5.00Just went on a morning snorkel cruise on their new Zodiac boat and it was terrific! We are regular customers of their other catamaran but this was a new experience for us (group of 7, mix of adults and kids). Nacho and Nick made sure all of my guests were well taken care of, from the drinks to the snorkel experience. One of my guests forgot his swim shirt and they even provided that for sun protection! Saw dolphins, turtles and lots of fish of course! Highly recommend for both small and large groups, this new boat is a terrific new addition to Oahu. Boat is very clean and run at a very professional level. My guests told me it was the highlight of their Honolulu trip, one that they will always remember.

5.00This was in fact amazing. My family of 5 had a private catamaran with 2 of the nicest guys. Captain was super friendly and then our snorkeling guide was awesome. Took us to see spinner dolphins, turtles, fish and even some eels. They really went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome. All gear was provided, the goggles and fins. It is bring your own food or drinks (they do have soda and water). After snorkeling they took us over by Diamond Head. One of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend this.

5.00Our family thoroughly enjoyed the sunset sail with Hawaii Ocean Charters. Staff were welcoming and super helpful throughout. Kids (and h Dad) loved the nets on the boat, then we all enjoyed swimming / snorkelling off the boat. Beautiful views across to Waikiki.
