Great experience, Charlotte was lovely! We did a tour along The Royal Mile - Charlotte is truly passionate about its history and no question was left unanswered - left the tour with a deeper appreciation for the Old Town.

The guided tour with Scarlet was an enriching experience overall. Technically, she has impressive knowledge. However, the story occupied a rather dominant place at the beginning – we spent the first half hour giving a detailed talk in a single place. That was informative, but we would have liked a little more exercise. Later on, she told exciting, sometimes somewhat debauched, but very pictorial and vivid stories. You could tell she was passionate about this. The route took us to interesting and partly hidden places that we probably would not have discovered on our own.

This is a “must-do” tour! Our guide was dressed the part, she was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and a great storyteller. It was over before we knew it because she kept us in rapt attention! It was a great tour and well worth the small fee of it!

We had a very interesting tour of old Edinburgh with Charlotte, who not only revealed numerous interesting stories of the lives of some more famous residents, but also explained what life was like for the poor as well. Charlotte also enlightened us with a timeline of the Kings and Queens of the U.K. and how they changed Scotland across the centuries. All in all, I’d highly recommend Charlotte’s tour, and her authentic costume really added something to the whole experience!

Charlotte our tour guide was beyond amazing. She was so knowledgeable and charismatic, with stories that brought the Old Town to life. She answered all of our extensive questions and included the kids. My kids were raving about how good it was and are still discussing the stories. The tour covered all of the important parts and She advised us on what else to see while here.
