Mythical beasts, tall tales and dramatic scenery: explore the beauty of Scotland in a day on this one day coach tour.
Leaving from Edinburgh, we head northwest passing famous landmarks such as Linlithgow Palace: birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, the mystical Kelpies, and the dramatically perched Stirling Castle.
Continuing north we arrive in Glencoe for some photos of the dramatic ridges called the Three Sisters.
We stop in the Fort William area for lunch before heading into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
Heading further into the highlands we arrive in the small picturesque village of Fort Augustus - you can choose to take part in an optional boat cruise here.
The road home will be time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Final refreshment stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing the journey home over the Firth of Forth alongside UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge enroute back into Edinburgh.

Keith was a great tour guide. He made a memorable experience through a blend of history, pop culture, and music. We had extra chances to get off the bus and explore. The views were magical. It was such a beautiful experience for myself and my husband.

This was a great way to get good exposure to a lot of the highlands. The tour didn't mention where it's stops were on viator, or the company this was with so it was difficult to check in on promise vs delivery. The first stop was at a tourist trap with no option for other activities, but the others were far better. Our guide, Neal, was very knowledgeable and friendly and made adjustments when there were other tour busses on the route to ensure we had the best experience. The bus did not have working facilities (chargers or toilets) and for a 13 hour journey my phone was getting pretty low! There was also a really squeaky section which went for the entire time and was really difficult to block out.

Anthony was the beeeeeest tour guide! The tour itself is gorgeous - the tour convinced me that I'll return one day to visit the Highlands on my own. Anthony was kind, thoughtful, care about each passenger. His stories were informative, his jokes were hilarious, and his music track could not be beat. I recommend the tour 100%, and also advise to do all you can to end up on Anthony's bus!
