Mythical beasts, tall tales and dramatic scenery: explore the beauty of Scotland in a day on this one day coach tour.
Leaving from Edinburgh, we head northwest passing famous landmarks such as Linlithgow Palace: birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, the mystical Kelpies, and the dramatically perched Stirling Castle.
Continuing north we arrive in Glencoe for some photos of the dramatic ridges called the Three Sisters.
We stop in the Fort William area for lunch before heading into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
Heading further into the highlands we arrive in the small picturesque village of Fort Augustus - you can choose to take part in an optional boat cruise here.
The road home will be time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Final refreshment stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing the journey home over the Firth of Forth alongside UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge enroute back into Edinburgh.

Neil was a fantastic driver and guide. He knew the vast history of the entire route. He also had the right amount of humor. Safety was first always.

It's a long day, but if you've only got a day to see the Highlands from Edinburgh, it's a good option.

The boat ride was beautiful and informative. Seat was comfortable, and the narrator was knowledgeable.

Keith took us on a wonderful journey through both Scotland’s history and highland country. He was quite knowledgeable and engaging from the start to the end of the day. The pacing/staggering of stops was well considered. Having a separate lunch stop from Loch Ness was much appreciated for those who wanted to take the boat cruise (worth the additional cost). It is a long day so be prepared to return “late” (8pm), but don’t be deterred. 10/10 day

Learned lots of history about Scotland. Ross, our tour guide was amazing. Narrating most of the trip and keeping everyone engaged while doing a fantastic job driving. Played music, knew to give everyone a chance to take a snooze after lunch! His whole trip was pretty well timed out. Long day, but don’t think we would’ve gotten that much knowledge anywhere else!
