Mythical beasts, tall tales and dramatic scenery: explore the beauty of Scotland in a day on this one day coach tour.
Leaving from Edinburgh, we head northwest passing famous landmarks such as Linlithgow Palace: birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, the mystical Kelpies, and the dramatically perched Stirling Castle.
Continuing north we arrive in Glencoe for some photos of the dramatic ridges called the Three Sisters.
We stop in the Fort William area for lunch before heading into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
Heading further into the highlands we arrive in the small picturesque village of Fort Augustus - you can choose to take part in an optional boat cruise here.
The road home will be time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Final refreshment stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing the journey home over the Firth of Forth alongside UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge enroute back into Edinburgh.

An excellent tour of the Highlands! We had Scott as our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing. We appreciated the music he played (it was well thought out and added so much to the tour!) He kept us entertained on a long journey with funny stories and some history lessons. There were several stops on the tour, we loved Glencoe the most, it's absolutely beautiful and a must see. The lunch stop was in Fort William. It felt a little rushed, as most of our time was spent grabbing food, but there isn't much to see there. We did the boat cruise in Loch Ness and didn't think it was worth the extra cost so you can skip it and won't miss much. The guides on the boat did not share much information about the lake and its history and they only spoke for the first 20 mins of the almost 1 hour cruise. Highly recommend booking this tour as the company really cares about customer satisfaction. We took 3 tours on our vacation (this one and 2 in Ireland) and this was by far our favourite!

Great tour. Neil was amazing, funny and stopped off at beautiful places that didn’t have as many tour buses which was exactly what I was looking for.

was a really nice tour. Yes, it’s a very long day with a lot of time in the bus but our guide tour Scott made it so great! He made stops in perfect spots to take pictures and enjoy the amazing scenery, he told us so much about Scotland’s history and culture, he made us listen to Scottish music and even sing! It was a lovely trip, we all enjoyed every minute of it! And it’s all really thanks to Scott. He made it so special! PS.: Scott is an awesome story teller. It’s like you’re there fighting alongside the Jacobites or Wallace!
