Your tour will depart from Edinburgh with a maximum of 16 people and head to the north-east area of Scotland. The region of Speyside follows the path of the River Spey, stretching from the west of the Cairngorm National Park to the east coast. Boasting an impressive scene of winding lochs, green glens and dramatic peaks, the region has something for everyone. Enjoy visits to four of the region’s famous whisky distilleries, Lindores Abbey, Royal Lochnagar, Glen Moray and Dalwhinnie and enjoy tastings and samples. Excellent in every way. The whisky, the magnificent scenery, the jolly fellow travellers, the recommended food and accommodation, and perhaps most of all Roger the guide! These sort of trips are so much enhanced by a good guide. He drove very well, gave excellent information on what we were seeing with good knowledge of the history of the Highlands. Very calm and patient and a great help to a disabled passenger! Well done Roger!

This tour to the Speyside region was excellent. Our guide was Mac, who told us many Scottish stories throughout the journey, revealing his knowledge of history and landscape. We visited several distilleries such as Lindors, Cardhu, Dalwhinnie, Speyburn and a whiskey shop in Tomintoul. In all of them we had a clear explanation of the whiskey process... and good tastings to taste different varieties. We stayed at Grantown on Spey at Garden Park Guest House. Their owners Sarah and Daniel were great hosts and everything was perfect! It is a highly recommended tour to know the whiskies of this region.

  • Rabbie's Speyside Whisky Tour - my husband's memorable 60th birthday trip!

Wow! After researching numerous multi-day whiskey tours from Edinburgh, my husband chose the Rabbie's 3 Day Speyside Whisky Tour. This exceeded our expectations. Dave R, our tour guide, was a fantastic driver, an interesting conversationalist and just an all-around nice guy. He kept us on time with a smile and some Scottish humor. He always had good suggestions for lunch venues when stopping in small towns. He accommodated additional quick tasting stops. AND, I got to pet and feed a hairy coo - what else could a girl want??? I would not hesitate to book more Rabbie's Tours - they do it right!

As a long-time whisky lover, this 3-day Speyside tour with Rabbie’s was outstanding. Keith, our guide, blended deep knowledge, great storytelling, and easy humour, making every distillery visit come alive. The itinerary balanced big-name houses with hidden gems, giving a true taste of Speyside’s elegance and charm. The group on the bus was fantastic – friendly, fun, and united by a love of a good dram. Between the whiskies, the scenery, and the camaraderie, these three days felt like a perfect blend. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Speyside at its best.

Outstanding tour and guide (Billy). I could have used a few more whiskey tours and tastings. But the stops were informative and interesting. Learned a lot. The next time I would stretch it to the 4 day tour. More time more tours. Rabbie's was well organized and the van felt brand new.

This three-day-tour is great for Whiskey connaisseurs and newcomers alike. The tour is very well organized: you see, hear, learn and drink a lot! It is quite comfortable to travel in this modern minibus, and be taken from one distillery to the next. Andy, our driver and entertainer, was funny and quite talkative. Overall, a great experience!

We spent 3 days in the Highlands touring and tasting whisky. Our driver, Roger was very informative took great care of us. the tours that were arranged were different and explained the whisky distilling process. Our tastings were very well done by the distilleries. Dalwhinnie Distillery gave us a pairing with chocolate that was amazing. Cardu was exceptional. Everything was planned by Rabbies and communicated well.
