I had a wonderful experience on this trip. A special thank you to Hassan Amiri for his excellent guidance—he made sure all our questions were answered and our needs were met. I’d also like to thank Younes for driving us safely throughout the journey. I would definitely recommend this trip, but it’s important to manage your expectations. If you’re looking for a luxury experience with gourmet dining and upscale hotels, this may not be the right fit. Most tours visit the same locations due to the limited number of restaurants and accommodations in the region. However, if you're looking for adventure and a chance to discover the natural and cultural beauty of Morocco, this trip is an excellent choice. Additional Information & Tips: Bring some extra cash. Not all meals are included, and you’ll likely want to purchase drinks and snacks along the way. The desert accommodations are basic, which is understandable given the remote setting and limited infrastructure. Don’t expect amenities like air conditioning, but they are suitable for the environment and the experience. The camel ride into the desert can be uncomfortable for some people, especially over longer distances. Fortunately, there are alternative options such as taking an ATV or a jeep for an additional fee if you prefer. There are a few stops at local shops or cooperatives along the route. These are likely part of partnerships, which is quite common since tourism is a major part of the local economy. However, there’s no pressure to buy anything, and I personally never felt uncomfortable. In fact, it can be a convenient option for those who won’t have time to visit the souks later. Be sure to bring an insulated water bottle, as the desert heat can make regular bottled water very warm. Make sure you have enough water with you, especially during the desert portion of the trip.

We were lucky enough to have Mohamed as our lead guide and Hicham as the driver for our June trip where the temperature rarely dropped below 40, now I research it he hell out of these trips before going so I knew what to expect - a lot of driving, however it is perfectly timed to arrive at the main event (the desert) at the perfect time to ride into the camp on camels - the camel ride is about an hour and was great but no one complained it was too short ! The stops en route were interesting and well spaced and the lunch stops were reasonable food at an average of 120 dirham per meal. These places don’t like taking cards and do levy a surcharge so I’d advise bringing some cash, the local guide ad the village/movie set is an additional 20 dirhams plus I tipped the other local guides a similar amount because they earn it. The first nights hotel was great (and had a bar and pool) the camp was basic but adequate (we didn’t pay the luxury surcharge) sand boarding was fun and well spaced got a bonus blast round the desert in a 4wd which was unexpected and fun. Hotel meal and breakfast was fantastic and designed to help the group bond. Camp meal was nice and breakfast was adequate but nutritionally good (you won’t go hungry) I had a stupid (my fault) accident and was well looked after (sprained ankle) there is an option to take quads back from the camp in the morning in place of camel (600 dirham for a double) we chose this as I think the camel ride once is enough. The last day is mainly travel and is a long one but considering it ales a day and a half to get there it’s hardly surprising. When you consider the value it is 2 nights accommodation 4 meals and loads of activities for about the price of 2 nights in a standard hotel it really is a no brainer. If you are lucky enough to get Mohamed and Hicham you are in for a treat

This was a very difficult three day trip. The van had 15 people in it and was very hot not really good ac . The food was not good left feeling hungry and the included breakfasts were nothing much at all. There were many stops on the way some were ok others were kinda a waste of time . The hotel provided for one night was not what I would ever pick for myself the sheets dirty the towels kinda yucky. When we go to the desert finally it was cool the camel ride was challenging but worth it. The tents you must bring a fan or some sort as there are no fans or air cond and it is very hot over night . Over all a very long three days .

Had a brilliant time on this tour. The highlight for me was quad biking through the dunes and star gazing at night in the desert. Hichim was a brilliant guide and made the trip seamless.
