Great food on an OK tour

3.00Kelly, our tour guide, was very friendly, kind and was prompt in picking us up from our hotel. The Muslim Quarter itself is fantastic, and full of delicious, varied and excellent food. Hence we returned a few more times during our trip. The reason why I’m rating this tour 3 stars is because it is not good value for money. The food within the quarter is cheap, and one could wander around and buy different kinds of food by themselves. While the places we were taken to (3-4) were good, we did have to actively ask to try other types of food which may not have been included. The tour also did not include the fountain show at Wild Goose Pagoda, as described. I would recommend the tour provider reduce the price, or think of some added value to match its current price point.

5.00I would have never guessed that such a vibrant ethnic market existed in Xian, much less have had the ability to explore it successfully without the help of our local guide. She was able to take us through a plethora of back alleys and introduce us to the most local food one could ask for on holiday.

Muslim street was great. So many different types of food been prepared. We ate at a restaurant in Muslim Street, food was amazing. For us it was the closest we got to Indian food since having been in China.
Music fountain was spectacular, despite the cold, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide was also great.
