This experience has been the highlight of the trip to Vietnam! My instructor Jenny was a knowledgeable guide to the market and excellent teacher. By itself, the shopping trip to the market was a great experience. The variety of fresh produce is astounding, including fruit I’ve never seen in the US. After selecting and explaining the fresh ingredients, Jenny gracefully guided me through the five recipes. Each one was surprisingly easy to make and the results were mindblowingly delicious. The Bun Bo Hae soup with fresh rice noodles from the market would be even better with more time to simmer; I can’t wait to make it again at home. And who knew avocado ice cream with coconut cream could be so good? Not the kind masked by other heavy flavors—just the fresh avocado, whipped cream and coconut cream. I’ll surprise friends with it at a dinner soon. Jenny made the experience so fun one-on-one. It would be even better with a friend or small group to share the feast. It made me wish (even more) that my daughters were on this trip with me! If you you’re looking for a real cooking experience, I recommend this one!!!

I recently attended a Vietnamese cooking masterclass with Chef Bora, and it was an amazing experience! She explained everything clearly and made the whole process fun and engaging. We learned how to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes and had a small walk to the local market. Bora shared interesting tips and stories about Vietnamese cuisine, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this masterclass to anyone who loves good food and wants to learn more about Vietnamese cooking. Thank you, Bora, for such a wonderful time!
