The Cu Chi Tunnels were a base that extended all the way to the Cambodian border and contained living quarters, meeting spaces, kitchens, supplies, and equipment. Learn about the substandard conditions there, observe the homemade mines, and reflect on the significance of the tunnels in the history of Vietnam.

What To Expect
Ho Chi Minh City
Pick-up Information: District 1 (City Center): 7:00–7:45 AM District 3: 7:45–8:00 AM Regular Group Tour: No pick-up in District 3, Ben Nghe Ward, Nguyen Hue Street, or Da Kao Ward. Guests in these areas must go to the designated meeting point. Small Group / Limousine Tour: Pick-up available in District 3. Drop-off at Ben Thanh Market meeting point or Vietnam Travel Group office.
Cu Chi Tunnels
After completing the pick-up, the drive to Cu Chi takes about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on traffic. On the way, guests will have a short break at Lam Phat Rest Stop before continuing to the Cu Chi site. Cu Chi Tunnels Experience: Crawl into the authentic Cu Chi Tunnels. Visit the Gun Shooting Range (shooting fee not included). Watch an informative documentary video in the theatre room. See huge bomb craters, the underground Hoang Cam kitchen, and the Museum of Self-made Weapons. Explore the garment-factory ammunition area and souvenir shops. Visit a lacquer painting workshop to observe traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship.

He was super kind and friendly all the time making of our experience extra fun. The tour itself shows so much about the modern history of Vietnam and gives a proper feeling of it. 100% recommended!

5.00We had an excellent Cu Chi Tunnels tour with Jason. He was very knowledgeable, engaging, and explained the history in a clear and interesting way. Jason answered all our questions and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the tour. His passion for sharing Vietnam’s history really stood out and made the experience much more meaningful. The tour was well organized. Visiting the tunnels with Jason gave us a much deeper understanding of the site than we would have had on our own. Highly recommend this tour.

He briefly explained the Vietnam history in the bus on the way to the locations and it was really insightful :) We had a great time

5.00It was a last minute decision but well worth the time and money. Lee was a fun tour guide. He was energetic , informative and funny at the same time. A must try for any first time visitor to HCM.
