Valle dei Templi
The tour includes a visit to the archaeological park of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.Characterized by an excellent state of preservation, and important Doric temples of the Hellenic period. It was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997.
Agrigento is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in the world, the most visited ever, a symbol of antiquity with its suggestive Valley of the Temples. But Agrigento is not only culture and history. It is beautiful not only for its exceptional archaeological heritage, but also for the natural environment that characterizes it. The beautiful beach of San Leone is made up of soft golden sand, characterized by kilometers of sandy shores bathed by a splendid sea, with an intense blue color and clear waters. Its promenade (Falcone and Borsellino) is embellished with tall palm trees that line it. In its vicinity there are all kinds of services, shops and restaurants offering typical Sicilian specialities. After exploring the archaeological sites of the Valle dei Templi Park, treat yourself to lunch in a small restaurant facing the Falcone Borsellino promenade in San Leone. Here the dishes are based on land and sea ingredients together, a unique mix with a Mediterranean flavour.

5.00You do want to see the valley of temples. You will feel transported in time and probably will feel you are in Greece. Fabrizio our driver and Danielle our guide were amazing. They truly helped make our tour a great experience. You should get a tour guide. Danielle was very professional and passionate. Thank you Fabrizio for all the info and conversation we had.

5.00The valley of the temples is not to be missed – the ruins are beautiful, the history is fascinating – our guide Anna did a wonderful job.— the park itself is beautiful and green and open, and you feel like you are out in nature. Scala dei Turchi was less impressive – perhaps in part because we chose not to climb down the stairs and saw it from above. One of the best parts of our day was getting to know our wonderful driver Luca (ask for him if you can!)

5.00This was a lovely day with our fabulous driver, Fabrizio. He was kind, considerate, welcoming, and informative! We have made a friend! Our tour guide at the temples, Claudio, was a treat! He brought the history alive for us. We had a lovely lunch at the water’s edge and a safe and comfortable ride to and from. We highly recommend this private tour. It is pricy, but worth it.

5.00Monumentally it is a past the heritage of Sicily in general and its magnificent beaches of crystal clear waters. How I advise not to go in summer is very hot and humid. And as an advice to Sicilians to clean up the cities a bit, there is something called a broom 🧹
