Thanks to this cooking lesson in a small group, you will have the opportunity to learn some of the recipes of the traditional Sicilian cuisine with a professional chef, visiting a picturesque market of Palermo, one of the most beautiful cities in Sicily.

You will have the opportunity to personally buy local products, chosen according to the season, which will allow you to make some of the dishes of the tradition of Palermo. Together with your personal chef, you will feel Sicilian food expert for a moment! You will be introduced to the flavors of Sicily, learning how to choose and distinguish fresh ingredients, that you will use during your cooking class.

During you cooking class in Palermo, you will prepare a 3 course meal and you will end by savoring the dishes that you have prepared with your own hands. Get your recipe booklet and be ready to surprise your friends with Sicilian recipes back home!

The visit to the market included a bit of history and great tips for shopping there! Loved it! But the cooking class after we got our ingredients was even more fun! Lidia, our instructor, was terrific; we learned to make some classic dishes and enjoyed both making and eating our creations! Just terrific fun!!!

Great short walk to the outside market. Fun class making arancini, cannoli, and ragu. Easily understood in English. Small class of just four people. Elvira was a great instructor. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time with Serena during this cooking class and market tour. She is very engaging and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed interacting with other travelers from other places around the world. We ate plenty of good food after we made it, we didn't even need dinner! It was a very enjoyable way to spend the day on our trip to Palermo. I highly recommend it if you are into cooking, like we are!
